director = drug user = public displays of stupidity

Oh that? Just the best WR the Bears have ever had.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 03:03 PM) SS2k5 = The road to 100,000 LOL so true.

QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 01:58 PM) If Manning wants the money he will sign with Denver, if he wants to win championships, the 49ers are the team for him. Didn't Denver just make the playoffs with a RB at QB?

QUOTE (YASNY @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 12:01 PM) Some info would be nice. Link even. Holy s***, Google exists. Seriously. If you don't know how to Google things quickly, then join this millennium. I heard it on the radio and posted. I only report fact.

Those lefties never go away.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 11:05 AM) Kansas has a great new anti-abortion law: That's f***ed. Society is regressing.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 11:17 AM) Maybe we can loan Hermie to the Bulls? Yes. Make it happen.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 09:23 AM) Nope, he's still alive. Heh, I thought he was dead. Then my point is even more valid. If we signed old Rae off the NCDOC Killaz to play for us I'd have a big problem with it.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 12:15 AM) Was hitting about .132 in my RTTS season at 3B for the Cubs AAA team, and guess what..... I was selected to the Future's roster! lol, WTF. And then about 2 days after the Futures game, I got sent down to AA. In AA I had an existing .180 average (yeah, and somehow I was promoted earlier in the year), but now I am starting to do better. I have decided to work on my speed, so I can beat out infield singles, and I have my average up to around .220 I think. Still 0 homeruns (other than w/ the PS Move), but I am finally starting to hit some to the wall. They need to cut yo ass.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 08:17 AM) And OJ was never convicted of murder either... Again, someone brings up murder (or rape) which I think are on another level. If we'd just traded for the corpse of Rae Carruth, I'd swear off the Bears. There's levels of bad, people.

D-Rose will likely miss an extended period... I could see that being anywhere from another 3-6 games. There's no sense in rushing a groin injury. Dude was sitting on a pad on Wednesday night so who knows. Can we rent Phoenix's training staff? I need health!

QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 11:15 PM) Maybe we should give management some credit on finding potentially the best coach in the NBA right now as well. We COULD credit that one to World Wide Wes, but thank the LAWD we got Thibs. I am crushing on his scheme against the Heat.
-
QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 11:08 PM) You guys are seriously pathetic. Most teams rely on their star(s) once it gets to the CF and Finals. Give me a break. And don't put quotes around "best team in the NBA" the fact remains that no team has won more NBA games since October 2010 than the Bulls so like I said record wise they're the best. Learn to read. Also, nothing management can do when Wade, Lebron, and Dwight don't want to come here. Did you want them to give up the house for Gasol? Cause I certainly am happy they didn't. Oh Yeah and thanks for pointing out the health situation. Our management managed to build a team that has put up the best record in the NBA while being fully healthy like 5 times this season. I heart Kev! I heart Kev! I heart Kev!

Hey Jason, I don't see a single conviction on Marshall's record for battery of a woman. It's a long rap sheet, but no moment where the courts decried he did any physical harm to a woman. Isn't that what the courts are for?? He got a DUI and he got stabbed.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 03:43 PM) Listen. Most NFL players don't have these issues. They've all had certain problems. If you think the majority of the league has the issues Marshall has than I'd be stunned. In this latest incident, he popped someone because his wife got hit in the face with a beer bottle. I cannot fault him for that.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 04:12 PM) However, we can be confident that people in Chicago will continue to blame the Bulls' GM for not getting a deal done for Gasol to help out the team this year. Only the dumb ones. I can be a tad perturbed at the price paid for Nick Young, but whatever.
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 03:46 PM) There was no way the Bulls were going to trade Noah + Taj + picks for Gasol. That's straight up murder. Noah's actually been more productive this year than Gasol. In fact, Noah's been one of the most efficient players in the league this year according to WS/48. There's no way I'd toss Noah for Gasol straight up, let alone toss in a player and two 1st round picks. The Lakers suck.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 03:21 PM) I knew you'd make that response regarding rich. But seriously, say you have equal money, is he who you'd want as your neighbor? I guy who constantly has been in trouble and has a history of violence? Would you want your kids looking up to him on the football field. I love the Bears and I'm very passionate about sports and I hope like hell Marshall is a changed man. But I also don't live under a rock, the reality is this guy has had a ton of chances and thus far has proven he is what he is (an abuser of women) and that is a major problem. To each his own, I guess. As long as the courts say Brandon Marshall is a free man, I'm happy to have him on the Bears. He's f***ing awesome and I've seen enough jokers in my time to not really care what Marshall does off the field (assuming that doesn't effect him on the field). I really wouldn't care who my neighbor was in that scenario above, because I'd have a pimped out privacy fence and quick access to a phone for dialing 9-1-1. I just don't get the point of that line of questioning when I'm saying that he can do what he wants as long as he's catching footballs on Sundays... and Mondays... and Thursdays... and the occasional Saturday.

I guess I don't need to worry about Kaman. You can't block CP3 to the Lakers and then turn around and hand the Heat Chris Kaman.
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 02:57 PM) Let me ask you this, would you want your sister involved with Marshall or your mom? Or someone you cared about. Hell, better yet, would you want to live next door to that type of person. That doesn't make any sense. He doesn't have to beat my sister to play for the Bears. He has to catch footballs. And yes, I'd love to live next door to Brandon Marshall, because that would mean I was rich.
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) Whatever. Beating a women is wrong. 10000% wrong. If what is out there and he's done it to multiple women multiple times, that is wrong and utterly disgusting. I expect better out of the Bears. Again, I don't know all the facts, but if that is the case and he's just constantly gotten away with it cause he's great, well shame on our society and shame on the Bears. I've always been proud of the way the organization has handled itself in regards to some of the scumbags that play in the NFL. I hear you. Obviously I do not condone beating a woman. However, I can let the law deal with that and if Marshall is legally able to play NFL football as the most talented WR the franchise has ever seen, I will root for him like a crazy man.
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 02:57 PM) Listen, winning matters, but I look at things unbiasedly. If a guy is out raping or beating or murdering, I don't want him on my team. Period, end of story. You just lumped beating in with raping and murdering.

I know Nene gets injured a lot, but JaVale is a moron who wants to get PAID. I don't get it.
