  1. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 09:50 PM) Fair enough. Misread the "a" as "the", which clearly wasn't the case. Although I think posting the numbers between the two still stands, since there are a few people that come to this thread that think Noah is better than Dwight (or at least on the same level, which is farrrr from the case). Dude. Just watch the Wolves lose to the Lakers and stop trolling. No one is dumb enough to consider anyone but Dwight as THE top center. I'd like for you to find one person in this thread who ever posted anything remotely close to your claim here. Oh. And. MONEYSHOT LUOL DENG ALL STAR!
  2. That's the f***ing MVP right there.
  3. It's official. Joakim is back to being a top center in basketball.
  4. This game is so much fun. There is so much action.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 04:33 PM) I think I'm in the minority but I thought that movie was way overrated. The death sequences were pretty neat, the cinematography was good, and the main bad dude who does voices in the Simpsons was great (and needs to be in more bad-guy movies). But the movie itself was just boring as hell. I think Gosling had, in all seriousness, 10 total lines the entire movie. He just kept staring into the camera. I didn't really care for the ending either. You actually seem to be in the majority. I was surprised to see someone post such a positive review.
  6. Way to show up, Bulls. Wake the f*** up.
  7. Sweet, game isn't blacked out on ESPN. I like getting the national take on games (with the better graphics).
  8. Dammit, the Bulls are also on CSN+ tonight, which means they'll be blacked out of the ESPN telecast, doesn't it?
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 04:44 PM) Ten years already. Geez Not even 8, actually.
  10. Steelers release Hines Ward. Ouch.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 28, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) Chuck Garfien ‏ @ChuckGarfien Saw Nestor Molina pitch today (the guy White Sox traded for Sergio Santos). He's legit. Lord knows Garfien is at the top of the scouting profession.
  12. I will never forget watching the events unfold during that debacle. Players decking fans. It was nuts.
  13. fascinating article on the 'Malice in the Palace"
  14. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:59 PM) I didn't watch the Bulls until the Kirk/BG/Deng/Noc era. I'M NOT A FAN. Jesus f***ing Christ why are we all ganging up on J4L? We all f***ing know that he's a grass is always greener person. Leave him be. He's being ganged up upon because he's dealing in absolutes again and telling me I didn't watch what I watched. He can do whatever he wants, but projecting his incorrect opinions on me and other fans is just pointless taunting.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:50 PM) No, just Braun. Yeah, their team is usually just filled with a bunch of has-beens and Braun + Prince. Now, the one time or so a year I go up there to tailgate and get drunk and watch an indoor baseball game it'll just be a bunch of has-beens and a roider who I get to boo which will piss the locals off.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:47 PM) Nope, Nope, Nope. And I'm sure Kyle is going to come in here and get on me for talking in absolutes. But NOBODY was watching those teams consistently. I won't say every night. It would be damn near impossible to watch EVERY game of any season. But I don't want to hear it. The Bulls from 99 to I think it was '05 ( or what year was it that they made the playoffs under Skiles the first time?). They were Charlotte Bobcats bad. Oh my goodness. I still remember when Corey Bengamin and Khalid El-Amin got starts. You all are liars. The truth will set you free. There was no stopping me from watching the Bulls, and there never will be. F*ck yourself for calling me a liar, and f*ck yourself for all the blocks your team put up against me last night.
  17. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 01:24 PM) Mike Stanton now wishes to be called Giancarlo Stanton. (His real name is Giancarlo Cruz Michael Stanton) LOL. How does that guy know which baseball to hit?

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:29 PM) I bet you wish you could buy 2 hours of life back! HA HA 46 minutes! I cut my losses and shut it off!
  19. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:40 PM) Extremely false, no matter how many times you repeat it. I was just a young teenager when they were winning 13 games a season and still watched as many games as I could. Yeah, J4L thinks if he says it a thousand times it'll make him look less incorrect.
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:30 PM) lol. No, just honest. But it's easy to pretend you watched all 82 games in 2002. Afterall, it can't be proven that you didn't. It's hard to watch all 82 games in any given year, dude. I watched a s***load of Bulls in those down years because I love basketball. I had autographs from f***ing Marcus Fizer.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 01:29 PM) Anyone see In Time with Timberlake? It was one of those movies with a decent idea but pretty terrible execution. Obvious plot holes (why would the Timecatchers care if someone was stealing some rich asses time knowing full well they were hoarding it for themselves, and when they were in the same boat as the masses in that they got paid only one day for their work?; or, why would the poor with literally minutes to live everyday spend time drinking alcohol at a bar?), some shoddy CGI work (the car flip scene was hilariously bad) and some pretty poor acting by Timberlake (he's fine in a supporting role, definitely can not carry his own movie). That and the whole final speech from the rich guy was the same speech he gave Timberlake's character at the beginning of the movie. That was the climax of the movie and he just repeated the same lines. Snooze. Waste of $4 on Amazon. C- I posted a week or so ago how disappointed I was in that trash film.
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:20 PM) Didn't it use to be 125 points for free Taco Bell? Back when every team would average 100+ points a game. Could be; either way it certainly isn't news that they giveaway goodies.
  23. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:05 PM) I didn't say anything about the UC selling out. Basketball will always be a monster in Chicago. You still had the championship aura, MJ statue, the championship banners, etc. I'm talking about watching the games on the tube every night. I'm sorry. I don't buy it. I'm not saying you or anybody else never watched a game or tuned in every now and then. Ron Artest was one of my favorite players at the time and I loved watching him play. But sorry. Nobody was watching those historically bad teams every night. Dude, you are all over the place trying to save face. One post after saying you "simply forgot [the Bulls] existed" you backtrack. You're a bandwagoner.
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 01:44 PM) No. Like EVERY other Bulls fans in the world, when the dynasty broke up and they went to winning 20 games a season, I simply forgot about them. I absolutely did not forget about them. I followed the Bulls through every painful season following the dynasty. From Kukoc as team star, to Brent Barry, to f***ing E-Rob, to Elton Brand/Ron Artest draft, to f***ing giving Elton Brand away for a raw Tyson (still upset, not that it would have mattered), to the rise of the John Paxson era where Skiles was leading Kirk, BG, Deng version 1.0, Tyson, Curry, etc and they finally made the playoffs again... Now to this. I can appreciate this (and not be completely pessimistic) about the Bulls because I lived the bad years. What's happening now with Derrick Rose is so much f***ing fun. I guess someone who only shows up when the team is good would have reason to yawn at what the Bulls are doing now and consistently rip on the fact that the built overnight Heat are the best team in the NBA.
