I went over. I'm hoping he can get in the .230's, which for Adam Dunn would mean lots of production with his usual walk and power rates.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Mar 5, 2012 -> 10:12 PM) Joe Paterno gets fired but somehow Sean Payton is going to keep his job. What a weird world. This post is ridiculous.

Adam Dunn BA o/u .210

Last night, Kevin Love became the first NBA player in history to go for at least 35 points, 10 rebounds and five 3-pointers in back-to-back games. What a monster.

Add pick(s). Masturbate. Martin is in the doghouse. I could see this being a possibility.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 09:46 AM) Rose FT shooting in February and March: 69%. They played Miami at the end of January. Before then he was shooting 86%. Is it a psychological thing? Eh, Rose FT shooting on season is over 80%. Things even out.

I did my taxes last night with the Bulls game on so I didn't get to join in on the up and down Soxtalk thread. This thread IS ridiculous when you come in and read a bunch of posts at once. I only now just realize it. And I love it. Anyway, Rip Hamilton is a bust. The dude is as fragile as they come. Anyone suggesting the Bulls toss off a combination of Watson and Korver so we can get Ben Gordon is just crazy. Ben Gordon is as fragile as Rip, and costs way more. The Bulls need to get a 2 guard in here who can legitimately score and won't kill us cap wise. The usual suspects like OJ Mayo are out there. I really don't see Kevin Martin working under the cap, unless you can get the Rockets to take Rip, a pick, and more salary. Martin is in the doghouse and would be absolutely great here. Another guy to target could be Marcus Thornton, unless the Kings with their new arena coming think he's a big key in a lineup with Cousins moving forward.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 10:00 AM) Plus, um, meat is not exactly addictive. That's actually incorrect, but I digress.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 09:20 AM) The nanny-staters always have to have a boogyman. Can't mind their own business, got to get all up in everyone else's. F*ck off, I will eat a steak if I want to, and enjoy it. My buffalo burger for lunch Friday was awesome. And a bone to the vegheads, I had bacon-wrapped asparagas over the weekend. Mmmmmmm, bacon. The fear of people in hearing facts about what they eat is so evident. Why is the idea of not eating meat something that caused you to type "f*** off"? Nothing in that article said anything about people being bad for eating meat. It's all about the health effects.

Nestor looks legit, honestly. Just needs to work on the old control, but lots of movement.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 02:06 PM) He does. This guy is just that dumb. I'd have asked for 100:1 odds.

At work, at home, in public, do you piss in sinks?

Roundhead's Pizza Pub. Great pizza, and possibly the best spot to watch sports I've ever enjoyed. Two delicious, west suburban locations.

I'd like to take this moment to point out that despite a myriad of injuries, including losing 10 games from the league MVP, and a league-leading amount of road games, the Bulls again have the best record in the NBA, 1 game ahead of OKC and 2 ahead of the Miami Heat.

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Mar 5, 2012 -> 10:09 AM) I'm really hoping the Bulls run those f***ers out of the building. For you. Please use this size instead.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 5, 2012 -> 09:39 AM) After seeing the mets and cubs of the last few years, not really. touche -
QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Mar 3, 2012 -> 04:52 PM) Donnie Veal. It looked to me today as though he's Coop's fix-him project. Steve Stone used to jizz at the sound of the name "Donnie Veal".

It's crazy how little talent can be packed into $97 million. -
Talks beginning to move A's to San Jose
Steve9347 replied to southsider2k5's topic in The Diamond Club
Wolff, however, says that Oakland no longer is a viable market for the Athletics; the team ranked last in the majors in home attendance last season, averaging just 18,232 fans per game. That there is some bulls***. Perhaps if they stopped purging every bit of talent acquired, fans would show up. -
QUOTE (Papa Tru @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 03:05 PM) Is there going to be a soxtalk MLB 12 online league this year? Ide assume there will be a ton of people available for one seeing as how most people in here get the game.. You have ps3? If we did a shorter season (not committing to 162 games of online play), I'd be down.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 09:19 PM) Justified has been great so far this year. Best show on TV to me. Agreed. The wife picked it up this season, it's actually fun explaining all the characters and their histories with one another.

I'm having some pretty uncomfortable pain in my right foot when I work out... specifically, when I play basketball or run, and then following any workout, pretty much all the time. Everything I find on the interwebs regarding injuries to a metatarsal says the pain should present in the ball of the foot, but I'm getting it in very specific spot. I tried resting for a week, played ball, and it felt fine during exercise and started hurting the next morning. The pain is in the area shown below, circled in red. The pain is localized on the right side, presenting underneath that bone. Any tips would be helpful.
