  1. Bulls will win by 60 Wooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
  2. QUOTE (GREEDY @ May 26, 2011 -> 02:03 PM) Sorry that I didn't throw out a hypothetical trade including the only two minor league players I have heard of (like most would do here): "Do you guys think that a package including Jordan Danks and Chase Blackwood net us Ludwick"???? LOL You don't get it, bro. Had a respected baseball writer written of possible discussions (hell, even a blurb on Rotoworld would work), then it becomes PHT. If everyone just starts posting good players on bad teams who they think would look good in a Sox jersey, PHT would become completely useless. It's for news and b****ing about the White Sox!
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:56 PM) The 3 of you should get together and mud wrestle tonight. nekkid
  4. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:25 PM) BTW after random googling turned up a bunch of articles on Lebron's work ethic, I'm fully retracting my earlier statements. YES!!! VICTORY!
  5. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:24 PM) Well Steve the original poster compared him to Rose and I merely pointed out that Lebron is more like Jordan than Rose (in personality). Not sure how this is such a shocking development considering that Lebron wants to be MJ. Brian, you just happened to post at the exact moment that I got really sick of people trying to compare to Jordan 24/7. I apologize for going apes*** at your post. I don't think LeBron is much like Jordan at all, in that respect. SS nailed it.
  6. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:20 PM) Lebron's more of the oblivious, spoiled douche whereas Jordan wasis really just an asshole. Yes, yes, yes, yes. fyp a bit though.
  7. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:19 PM) Your right Steve, at Jordan's HOF speech he didnt attack a bunch of guys like Byron Russell. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-jordanhall091209 Oh wait, he did. Sorry the reason I used Jordan because in this very specific instance, it was an apt comparison. Lebron, like Jordan, can be petty about perceived insults, and there is evidence to support this. So not everything has to be Jordan, just this time, it made a ton of sense. I didn't say Jordan wasn't a prick, that's well-documented. The world has had many f***ing pricks and so has the NBA. I am so sick of everyone comparing Rose to Jordan or LeBron to Jordan. Chicago needs to move on.
  8. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:06 PM) Played Heavy Rain for 10 hours straight until I beat the game. Amazing storyline. Admit it, you weren't so quick to knock out the dude with the lamp when he was making that chick strip. LOL.
  9. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:14 PM) You cant compare Lebron and Rose because they have completely different personalities. Lebron is like Jordan, and to Lebron the media picking Rose as MVP is disrespectful to Lebron. The point starts out so well, and then it doesn't. LeBron is absolutely nothing like Jordan in personality or how he handles the media and infers in his comments. Why does everything have to be f***ing Jordan!?
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:55 PM) That's the thing. No non-Heat fan or bandwagoner watches them every night. This D didn't come from nowhere. But it's on another level compared to the regular season.
  11. Get over it, folks. If I can anyone can. LeBron chose Miami. He did so in the douchiest way humanly possible, but it's over. There's no reason to dog him as he kicks the Bulls' asses. Now, that all being said, I am going to say that the Bulls will still win this series.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:41 PM) Where the f*** did I ever say anything about Boozer being a good defender. LOL, you read the post wrong. You're picking on the wrong player when it comes to taking plays off defensively in LeBron. He's been unbelievable on defense in the playoffs. He's defended the rim with authority and was glued to Rose and the sole reason the series isn't tied right now.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:35 PM) None of that has much to do with how he takes plays off on defense. He sure as s*** didn't in Game 4. Complain about Carlos Boozer if you have a problem with that!
  14. We know Rose works hard because we're privy to all the reports that he worked hard. I'm sure if we had been listening to Cleveland sports radio (God save me from that) or reading Cleveland sports pages (and now Miami) we'd be able to spout off LeBron's ethic. This entire thread has gone to s***. LeBron is a phsycial specimen, both thanks to his physical gifts and his work ethic in the gym. You don't shoot like that without doing more than just simply "lifting weight", and you don't glide at that weight and height with such little injury without training your body to take a pounding with a work ethic that would make every poster here vomit. Questioning LeBron's dedication to his craft is really dumb, and thinking he doesn't work hard is just ignorant.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:22 PM) Worth noting that you can say the exact same thing about Dwight Howard as well. They're clearly the most physically gifted players in the game, but they get by entirely on their physical skills, not on their technique. Wow! LeBron James has no technique!
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:15 PM) So my takeaway from this discussion is that there are people that think the clear cut best player in the NBA isn't working hard enough? Interesting. Yes... very silly people.
  17. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:10 PM) Uh, what? Those are all physical gifts Strength is not a physical gift.
  18. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) Lifting weights isn't the same as working on your game, though. Were you even listening on Tuesday night? LeBron totally changed his routine to be capable of beast mode come this time of year after getting his ass beat going deep into the playoffs year after year by his f***ing self. Yoga, weights, training, gym. It ain't no picnic, and it doesn't happen by magic.
  19. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ May 26, 2011 -> 02:58 PM) I really do wonder what he does in the off season. Been in the league 8 years and has 0 post game. He's bigger, stronger and faster than 99% of the people who can even consider guarding him...and he has no post game. Makes 0 sense, or really makes 100% sense that he doesn't reaaaaalllly give a s*** as long as he gets to play house with his buddies. By virtue of magic and not working hard, I guess?
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 26, 2011 -> 02:55 PM) I guess will agree to disagree. I guess it's Aaron Rowand syndrome. Talented guys aren't trying as hard because they're talented. And guys not as talented try harder because they're not as talented. That's always irked me. Yeah, agree to disagree. No need to keep up this part of the argument.
  21. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 26, 2011 -> 02:54 PM) Lebron worked all off season so he can basically play entire games during the playoffs, how is that not working hard? I have to agree with this... look at LeBron's f***ing frame and how ripped he is. He's f***ing huge. That's not magic. I've been working for 5 months to drop weight and add muscle. Sure, it's his job, but LeBron is a physical beast and that doesn't happen by sitting on your ass.
  22. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 26, 2011 -> 02:53 PM) Two Jordan's on the same team are going to need some time to gel. bad, inaccurate, baiting
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 26, 2011 -> 02:51 PM) -They had early season injuries, but were relatively healthy in the playoffs (until Omer) Eh, their two best offensive players are playing through injuries. Still, I see your point. It is what it is... the Heat got hot at the right time and they are the better team... but anything can happen. The Bulls won 4 straight against the Heat already, and there's no reason they can't win 3 straight now.
