  1. Ben Roethlisberger - Twice accused rapist Michael Vick - Killed dogs for sport Brett Favre - sending pics of his penis to team employees Jay Cutler - shows frustration, has missed one game in his career, and was knocked out of the NFC Championship Game with a legit injury What a disgrace. I'm done with this thread and anyone who has a problem with Jay coming out of that game. If you have a problem with it, you are a meathead who cannot be convinced of the truth.
  2. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 03:07 PM) Sorry, I'm just tired of being called a meathead. I called Y2HH a meathead. You are just a turd.
  3. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 03:03 PM) Y2HH is self-admittedly trolling a topic with ridiculously high emotions (on both sides). Ok. As long as he admitted it hehe. I'm catching up after an extended lunch break.
  4. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) Yeah, one would never want to insist that LeBron would never go to Miami or anything. I want to slap you.
  5. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 02:22 PM) And since you didn't see it on TV, and one of his teammates made up an excuse for him, it must be true! I can do that, too. Oh nevermind, you backtracked. For the love of God, they showed Jay with a headset like 10 times and sitting next to Hanie.
  6. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 02:21 PM) Must have missed this, cuz I didn't see it once. Ah, hadn't gotten to this. If you are going to make definitive statements, make sure you are tuned into the entirety of the game, I guess.
  7. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 02:16 PM) No, because he didn't. Never saw him on the sidelines talking to either backup, never saw him reviewing pictures with them, or micing himself up and wearing a headset to assist like every other #1 QB that goes down does. I also don't care and at this point I'm just stirring the pot. Holy s*** were you EVEN WATCHING THE GAME??? Go away! He WAS miked up! He WAS sitting there going over binders of plays with Hanie. Go away, all you meatheads.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 01:42 PM) Um, 2 years of med school, father a doctor, torn ACL in high school....sadly, I know too much about this. Well, you certainly don't convey the fact because you said if it was a "sprain" vs a tear that he "pussied" out of the game.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 01:41 PM) Thanks, I probably have a better insight of medical stuff on this board (besides ptatc). To say the MCL is completely torn is wrong. I'd love to know what B&B have to say about this now. They are smart and know a "sprain" can mean partially torn and haven't backtracked like you and said he "pussied" out of the game.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 01:39 PM) Exactly, and a strain doesn't require surgery, etc. Still waiting to hear confirmation if the MRI was completed. Oh, he's a back-tracker. Don't act like you knew a strain was a tear.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 01:31 PM) Well Jay, I take it back. If it's an MCL Sprain, you pussied out of this game. * A first degree sprain is damage to only a few ligament fibres. * A second degree sprain is damage to a more extensive number of ligament fibres, but the ligament remains intact. * A third degree sprain is a complete rupture of the ligament. Because of the force involved in this injury other structures in the knee, such as the Meniscus (Cartilage) or the Anterior Cruciate Ligament can also be damaged. It's still torn, fool.
  12. Lovie is getting a little heated in the Collins vs. Hanie debate.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 01:04 PM) I love Big Ben, went to school with him and really liked him when we played golf a few times. Go Steelers. Cue *We're happy for ya*.
  14. Dilfer just said that "there's some players who look for a way out of a game, from his history Jay Cutler looks for a way out". Ok, yeah, he was pushed out of town by an insane head coach hell bent on destruction. Jay Cutler also has missed ONE F*CKING GAME in his career.
  15. Trent Dilfer is on ESPN 1000 and Mark Silverman is making him look like an idiot. He called Dilfer "irresponsible" and Dilfer is getting pissed. Please download the podcast when you can. Dilfer is an asshat.
  16. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 11:00 AM) Well said, it just sounded like you said before Cutler healthy was automatic win. I agree, they would have stood a better chance, but to say for sure is pretty bold. In a game like this you def wish you could have had your best out there the whole time, but in a season where the Bears were often the benificiary of teams with injuries, they suffered the worst one in the end. Yeah, I shot my wad. There's no guarantee the Bears win. I'm still just shocked it was so close.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 23, 2011 -> 02:00 PM) After failing to buy Groupon a few weeks ago, the Google is launching its own version. Honestly, I'm kinda happy...I've never been impresed with the Groupon's website, never seemed that up to date. That dude is going to rue the day he turned down Google's $6 billion offer.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 10:37 AM) I think Skiles has set a personal best for losing a team. Injuries kinda matter, especially if they happen to your best player... even if he is flawed.
  19. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 10:32 AM) So the Packers completeley dominated the first half, the Bears completely dominated the second half automatically equals a Bears win? Where is that rule written? If you think for one second the Packers didn't let up a bit on D you are blind, case in point, look what their D did when it had to each time in the 2nd half. Pick 6 then pick, game over. Cutler scored one touchdown on the Packers in 2.5 games, you have nothing to say he would have done it 2 times yesterday in the 2nd half..... Probably right, I didn't mean to take anything away from the Packers. I just feel that if we had a 100% healthy Jay Cutler instead of burning 2 series with Todd Collins and running out there with a guy who had 0 practice reps with the first team we might have, oh I don't know, stood a better chance. Somehow, with how poorly the Bears played on offense, they had a chance to tie the game on that final drive. If you don't think having a legit top-10 QB in there instead of the clown collection of Todd Collins and Caleb Hanie makes a difference, then I think that's crazy. Sure, Cutler could have gotten them down and thrown a RZ INT, I just wish I could have seen it!
  20. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 10:28 AM) Rod Maranelli did a great job in his first season as DC. *2nd
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 10:14 AM) I agree. And other than when Starks juked the hell out of him on to convert the 2nd & 15, he played a helluva game. That was Brandon Jackson, and yeah, that was a rough one but Urlacher was just awesome yesterday.
  22. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 09:51 AM) And you base this on what? His stellar first half performance prior to getting hurt? If Cutler was healthy, I'm pretty sure the Packers D wouldn't haven't taken it easy like they did, and continued to dominate. The fact that the Bears completely dominated the 2nd half with the worst 2nd stringer in the history of the NFL and their 3rd stringer playing and had multiple chances to tie it. If you are so blind you can't see this then don't bother replying.
  23. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jan 24, 2011 -> 09:44 AM) And all but two happened in the 1940's or earlier. Everyone is satisfied with 1985, though. Perhaps they're more like the Pittsburgh Pirates or the San Francisco Giants (before this year) of the NFL. My point remains. They've hardly done anything in over 50 years. Having been born in 1983, I am not satisfied with 1985.
  24. I still love Jay Cutler. Dude is the best we've ever had. We had some tough luck here, the way that defense played in the 2nd half and how we had a few chances to tie the game on drives... if Cutler is healthy we win that game. I feel the worst for Brian Urlacher. This was his best chance to win a Super Bowl ring.
