  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:28 PM) Bucher must have no heart, all he talks about is money, money, then some more money. So he's realistic.
  2. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:44 PM) Is that implying to GTFO? I love when the connection is made.
  3. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:27 PM) Yes, "best possible scenario" was an inaccurate statement, which is why I made the correction Calling me a liar though? Stay classy Oh stop it. I was creating a tongue twister with a feminine remark to mimic yours and it worked. Don't get your panties in a bunch.
  4. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:21 PM) Sorry, I didn't mean to type "best possible scenario", I meant most likely scenario Also, simmer down Sister Serious. Hey, you typed what you typed, and it was completely inaccurate. Lay off lady liar.
  5. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:11 PM) Best possible scenario for Chicago: Lebron stays in Cleveland, Bosh goes to Houston, Wade comes to Chicago in a sign and trade (Do they have need for a Noah, or Gibson?), and we sign Boozer Why do people say this? YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. The best possible scenario involves LeBron in Chicago, and until he has another cap on you and everyone else are just talking out of your asses.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:28 AM) Ingloriuous Bastards proved that QT still sucks at making movies (Resevoir Dogs being his last good one). Decent idea, style was all over the place, pacing was all over the place, crappy ending, and 30 minutes longer than it needed to be. Just bad. The fact that you waited this long to see it proves you have a distaste for QT to begin with... that being said, you are crazy. I think IB has become Tarantino's SECOND masterpiece, and the first was not Reservoir Dogs. Also, I find it crazy that people are still using Web-browsers that do not contain spell checkers.
  9. QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 12:09 PM) ESPNNewYork.com reports: Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov likes his team's chances of signing LeBron James and is convinced that Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will play for the Heat next season. According to notes obtained from a conference call Prokhorov had with his inner circle of executives over the weekend, the Nets' boss believes James would diminish his "brand" by playing alongside Wade and Bosh. Prokhorov was optimistic about the Nets' bid for James and said if he came aboard, they would pursue a trade for his close friend Chris Paul. If this didn't happen, he would look to sign Carlos Boozer. Several other interesting notes in this article as well. Prokhorov told his team to stop wasting their time on LeBron. Everything is bulls***. Nothing is real. It's the Matrix.
  10. I support this tweet, even though it's bulls***.
  11. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 11:19 AM) If you just get Bosh for Noah, you're in roughly the same spot, winning 40-something games and losing to Orlando or Cleveland. It makes no sense unless you're GUARANTEED to get Lebron or Wade as well, even then you're going to need to fill some holes to win since you'd have Phoenix Suns level defense inside. Rose + Gibson + Bosh + Haywood + Ray Allen + fillers is winning you 50+ games and puts you there with any team in the East.
  12. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 11:16 AM) Really...really? It might be a young squad, but the Twolves were atrocious. The Cavs aren't a playoff team without LBJ but I'm not going to even pretend that Lebron in Minny would be a better team than Lebron's Cavs of last year (w/Jamison, Varajo, Mo Williams, Hellickson, etc). Perhaps in reference to if you added 'Bron, maybe. But who the f*** wants to play in Minnesota.
  13. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:57 AM) Well if LBJ stays in Cleveland, than the best case is that Bosh goes to Cleveland because it likely forces Wade to think about leaving Miami because he'd have no chance to win without jumping ship. But I think Wade cares a lot about money. All of these guys do and don't pretend for one minute that they don't. And I don't blame em for it either. Well, I'd say the best case would be for Bosh to land here and then us get Wade, thus making us the best team in the East and not creating a superpower in Cleveland.
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:54 AM) There is a trade kicker so Turk impacts the cap more than 9.8M. The more I think about it, the more I'd rather have Bosh than Boozer. Bosh is much younger and much healthier and much better. And I'd be willing to trade Noah if need be. However, I would only do that if we were getting Wade or Lebron. I would not do it if we weren't.
  15. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:52 AM) It isn't bad, but I might rather just keep our lineup as is and go with boozer. Noah Boozer Deng Wade Rose Gibson Johnson Asik Acie Law Etc If only Wade wanted to play with Boozer then I'd obviously be down with that. The issue is guaranteeing yourself a top 3 guy which my scenario does. You bring in Bosh, and Wade is more likely to bounce anyway.
  16. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:49 AM) I think its been reported that Noah is untradeable at this point. Which is my problem. f*** that noise. Don't screw it up because of Joakim f***ing Noah.
  17. If my math is right, the trade as proposed by me would leave us with 27 million to work with. -20 for Wade = 4ish mill to get haywood and some depth, and Hedo can be our gunner. C Haywood PF Bosh SF Hedo SG Wade PG Rose Gibson Johnson Asik other f***s off the bench
  18. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:45 AM) Hmm interesting. If this is all true though, you'd think the Bulls have already made this offer though. That's the problem. They haven't. The Raps would probably accept that bad b**** given their mad trade exception and a pick we could toss in. This would also leave us flexibility to possibly add Haywood/Ray Allen and laugh our asses off.
  19. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:37 AM) Doesn't Hedo make less money than Deng? Yeah, the idea being Hedo comes back. I didn't do the salary figures, but you can work it out if Toronto gets Noah and thus Collangelo can claim "win".
  20. I really wish I could just take over Pax's brain for a moment. At this point, you need to take some initiative. Joakim Noah is a solid piece. He's funny, he wears bow-ties. He's no reason to pass on trading for Chris Bosh. You call up and you send Noah and Deng or picks or whatever makes contracts work and get back what you can get back to land Bosh. Ok, so Bosh is in tow. This now makes Miami way less attractive for Wade, and takes a potential big player off for Cleveland. Go out and get yourself a Brendan Haywood (free agent) to take over what you've lost in Noah. Now call up LeBron and Wade, hell, make it a conference call. "Whoever accepts our offer first, gets it." Make them compete for you with a roster that is hot to trot. Then you bring in a gunner after you have one of them and you laugh your way to 4 straight championships. That's if Steve took over Pax's brain today.
  21. Guys. Seriously. Everytime a new s*** report comes out there's a huge overreaction. "All signs" pointing means nothing... it's just something some idiot heard that makes him think someone is leaning one way or another. It sucks, but we literally won't know a damn thing until wednesday night at the absolute earliest, but I bet we're waiting another weekend at least. The fact that LeBron's eta keeps getting pushed back is only good for us. Do you know how EASY it would be for him to re-sign with Cleveland? More money, family, huge fanbase dependent on him. If he knew he was going back to Cleveland today we'd know already, trust me. LeBron's not being a diva, as so many people are quick to point out. He's very much in the process of making the most difficult choice of his life. It's only difficult, by the way, because he WANTS to play for the Bulls.
  22. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 12:59 AM) D-Rose can penetrate As can Delonte West... and his still being in Cleveland is reason #829 why LBJ needs to GTFO.
