  1. AJ continues to be my favorite White Sox player.
  2. Slav = the man.
  3. Food tastes better right now... water... more refreshing!
  4. How about we discuss tornadoes instead?
  5. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 04:17 PM) He has the Javy Vazquez syndrome. He can't pitch at all in pressure situations/when a team is in a playoff hunt. I think it's just NL syndrome.
  6. QUOTE (son of a rude @ Aug 25, 2009 -> 11:27 PM) lets send linebrink there He's still get destroyed.
  7. Unfortunately we have no options.
  8. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) hate the prick.. one of the biggest dicks
  9. Wow, just wow. I can't believe the Rivers hate in here. He's easily the third-best QB in the league, and he might even be better than Brees. (Brees' numbers look good bc of the sheer volume of passes). Rivers will be the best QB in this league by next season.
  10. Heilman has been claimed off of waivers by an NL club, while Harden was claimed off of waivers by a mystery club. The Cubs have until Monday to work out trades.
  11. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 12:31 PM) Yeah lets put Steve on notice. STEVE YOU'RE ON NOTICE FOR YOUR WEAK ARTICLE. BADGER YOU'RE ON NOTICE FOR BEING MEAN.
  12. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 12:00 PM) Its the swear filter. Just replace the asterisks, like with any other link that gets put out there that has an explitive in it. Sort of an unfortunate side effect of the fitler. I didn't bother to delve so deep into the link. Now that you have enlightened me, that is an awesome twitter page.

QUOTE (RibbieRubarb @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 12:26 PM) Or a genius like you will come in and shed light on it and make me appreciate that scene even more.
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 11:53 AM) Pena has not pitched 1 time for the Sox and NOT give up a run! Well, that's just inaccurate.
  15. You guys. I did not say fire him. I said he needs to win this farking division.
  16. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 11:52 AM) Are you referring to the twitter feed I posted? I thought the last one was hilarious. I'm referring to the fact that the link doesn't work.
  17. I think the Sox are going to take this one tonight... and roll into New York and take that series.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 10:53 AM) Was I missing something with the close-ups of the dollop of creme, or does Tarantino just like weird shots sometimes? He just likes weird shots sometimes... at least in that instance... I think. Some film student will come up with a reasoning, though.
  19. QUOTE (rangercal @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 10:24 AM) Steve, we need more threads where you talk in first person. How about a few thread bumps too? I could basically write all of your posts for you... just take the most homer-tone possible, and debunk anything that speaks ill of Chicago sports sans the Cubs. /rangercal PS, the original thread title was TONY PENA BLOWS. I can't help when mods change them... and the sentiment continues to be proven true everytime he pitches.
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 09:23 AM) Milton Bradley thinks this ad was done in Chicago... Biggest waste of $30 million ever.
  21. I'm for it, but Ozzie is exceedingly loyal, which is both good and bad. You won't see Dye benched for awhile yet.
