KW says he hopes Peavy will make his first start at the end of the month in either NY or BOS...says he's really only got to fill 3 starts due to days off.

Keep in mind Peavy did pitch 3 starts after the injury, with a heavily taped ankle. After the MRI they shut him down. I guess I'm saying it's not the kind of injury that completely prevented him from throwing. I'll miss Richard, I think this guy is going to be a stud. But man...what a rotation.

i don't see this as a big deal, but it might help the psyche of the Twins. Apparently Morneau and Mauer made it known they were pissed that no deals were in the works to go for it this season.

i don't think they pull out of this one. The usual suspects look like dirt turds in whack-a-mole -- pods, jd, kong, thome, aj. Pitching hasn't been atrocious but not enough to survive this offensive swoon. Hope i'm wrong.
