All these car commercials with bows on top of them. Who gives cars for christmas? I can't imagine this happens all the time. Gee i don't know what to get him/her, so i'll just buy em a Lexus. Last time i checked, people don't buy cars at the drop of a hat. Ebay. This "it" thing is out of control. They show a guy grilling "it." Who buys meat on Ebay? Don't be ridiculous. I'm sure there's more, but those are just off the top of my head.

I have almost all the Sox stuff i want for right now, so i have no idea what else i want. Money is easy on both ends, even though it doesn't take any thought. But like my uncle says, "cash is the gift that keeps on giving."

What can i say, that was ugly. Dee looked like absolute crap. Thank God he made 2 free throws at the end, or this possible loss would have been all on him. We did play a pretty good for a stretch in the 2nd half. But other than that, it was pretty foul. Turnovers everywhere, some terrible fouls and loose ball plays...i mean not scoring for about 5 minutes after working to get a 14 point lead is just inexcusable. We failed to run an offense half of the time. And on defense...i think UNC had about 3,000 points in the paint tonight. So many easy buckets, failed box outs, etc. We also didn't get back in transition vey well. There's certainly a lot to work on for this team. Dee certainly didn't show the leadership i expected him to tonight. He better come around, and come around soon. I'm glad it's a W instead of an L against a pretty talented team, but that was not very satisfying. I guess i should just be happy cuz it's a W, but that was not pretty. Also, Dickie V sucks, but that's old news.

There's no way you could guarantee a win even if White was playing. Not against the #1 team in the nation. What's the line for this game anyway? I'd love IU to win

Alright, so we take on UNC tonight in the Dean Dome. I guess the line is UNC -2 or somewhere around there. Bottom line, we better win this game. It's going to be a good game to see where exactly this team is at right now. I know UNC has a lot of talent - but it's inexperienced. This is the game where Dee and James need to work hard to find a way to win. Even McBride has enough experience. I wouldn't be shocked if we lose, not one bit. But we need to win this game. We're a bit overrated at #12 right now as it is, but winning this game would put everyone at ease in illini country for the time being and give me confidence that this team can be pretty good. I don't want to hear the excuse "it was in the Dean Dome" if we lose. We should play above that factor. Dee has been off the last few games - time for him to step it up. He likes the spotlight...and he'll sure have it tonight. Let's go Dee and James, lead us to a big win. Also, this game has nothing to do with revenge or the "rematch" factor. 2 starters remain from that game out of 10. It's about beating a formidable team on the road early in the season in our first real test of the year.

So i'm watching the show "1st and 10" and they reported a rumor that Torre is considering putting Jeter or ARod in center field to fill that void. They didn't make this up, but i can't remember where they said they heard this from. Probably some NY paper or something. Anyway, this is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard.

I'm looking to buy a digital camera as Christmas gift for someone. I don't know the first thing about digital cameras. So... What are some things i should look for? What brands do you prefer? What price range should i be looking in to get a quality camera? Should i buy from any specific place? The camera isn't going to be used to take professional pictures or anything like that, just run of the mill family/friends pictures, etc. That being said, i want the pictures to turn out pretty nice - I don't want to just buy a camera to buy one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
