Warren Carter broke his nose defending a Brian Randle dunk. He should be practicing by the end of the week after having surgery today. Looks like we could have a mask guy this year. Sweet.

I think the lineup could easily be Dee, Augie, Smith, Pruitt, Randle/McBride. Smith was obviously very impressive last night. Pruitt looked real good as well. Carter got the start over him 'to show him some love'. But Carter looked awful. I thought Frazier was decent. Jackson actually looked pretty good as well, he was always around the hoop and found the ball for some easy buckets.

General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Chicago Blackhawks have signed center Martin St. Pierre to an NHL contract. St. Pierre, 22, was originally signed to an American Hockey League contract by the Norfolk Admirals in September and had reported to their training camp. For Norfolk this season, St.Pierre appeared in 9 games and scored 4 goals while adding 8 assists for 12 points with 14 penalty minutes. St. Pierre stands at 5.09 and weighs in at 180 pounds. Last season, he played for Greenville in the ECHL where he appeared in 45 games and had 14 goals and 39 assists for 53 points with 55 penalty minutes. Later in the season, he played for the Edmonton Roadrunners in the American Hockey League appearing in 18 games scoring 2 goals and adding 5 assists for 7 points with 8 penalty minutes.

Park in one of the Red Top lots, not the actual UC lots. It's a few bucks cheaper, and they are much easier to get out of than the main two UC lots. I've parked in those lots for years with no problems. The one i use is off of madison, a block west of the UC. There are a few Red Top parking lots around the UC, just look for the signs. If you're a student (even if you aren't and still have an ID and look somewhat young), buy a ticket for 8 bucks like someone said, and then you can probably move down in the 300 level. Overall, just buy a cheap ticket in the 300 level and move down within that level. I'd also eat before the game somewhere, as the food is pretty crappy and obviously over-priced in the UC. I'd also get there early and watch warmups, but that's just me.
