  1. No, it's a valid reason, plus his arm was bad or back or something
  2. Hello, they won, so just shut up with the Rick Whiteesque second guessing. Assuming Colon was fine (which i don't think he was), of course you second guess this If they blow it, it gets second guessed. So just cuz we win we throw a blindfold on to any bad moves in the game? That's the wrong perspective to have, i'm sorry Because one game, that same stuff will cost you. Then it's ok to talk about it?
  3. let's get 3 outs first before we start saying that bring on the a's it was a jinx, to say bring on the As too soon - that's why I anti-jinxed it to hold KC to only 3 now however: bring on the As! hey, i'm not the one that said it originally, i know better than that nice call on the anti jinx solid
  4. that's ok - I hated that place all my life - I grew up with cubs player families as close friends and while I loved my friends and their families, I really disliked the team and hated wrigley - just always been that way - then I wasn't there for 28 years or whatever and went back and everything I hated about it, still there - Hate the team, hate the fans, but can't hate that ballpark empty
  5. Who gives two craps about races? I say wrigley's are better because there are less of them, and the fans don't care.
  6. let's get 3 outs first before we start saying that bring on the a's
  7. febles pinch running for harvey at first
  8. Well then it was the right move. If you can't hold a 4 run lead for one inning, you deserve to lose
  9. I agree, but you can't put him in in this game
  10. if this is for pulling colon, i see i took it as you are unhappy with marte coming on, my bad
  11. i just got a sick feeling in my stomach, wow this is not good gotta get ibanez here
  12. You let him "get back" by using him in setup. Prove he can get an inning in without giving up a run, or two. You don't throw him in there to test the water against KC, who you are chasing, in a save opp, that'd be ridiculous and Jerry would be run out of town if he blew it. see mynext post after that one ya, i typed that post while you were posting your second post
