It wasn't just the rap that was horrible..... :puke True, true so easy for all the people who can't do to take pot shots Neither Em nor I gave a s*** about your lack of musical taste opinions! Now back to CLee... You call that taste? Please! the movie sucked I do like his album though, good stuff. But that movie sucked, period

All series should be 7 games. For every game you take off it gives the lesser team a better chance to win, so a greater chance the actual better team doesn't come out on top. And i'm not talking about where they are in the standings.

I agree, maybe "you've been at this plant so long, you're a plant" or "i'm outie, tell these people something they don't know about me" or "look at your boots, they're starting to grow roots!" just had to rip on the rap in 8 mile, it was HORRIBLE.

My generation has a shorter attention span and that gives us less patience. Agreed man

Because of my signature Well he sucks, no fire, don't like his tinkering, and he can't handle a bullpen, what more is there?
-
Ya, so he attempted i think 24 steals in 2001 and was successful on 17...then in 2002 5 steal attempts, succesfful on one? That's a pretty big disparity

It's tough to steal 15 when you're hitting .174 and have an OBP of .255. Regardless 2000 - 13 swipes 2001- 17 swipes 2002 - 1 friggin swipe, and he batted .264, .005 below 2001's average That's my point 1 steal and we are not even 1/10th of the season! To compare full season #'s with 14 games with of #'s doesn't make sense! Check a calendar The year is 2003

The first thought that crossed my mind when i read this topic was "how can it get any worse" The lack of steals is definitely a concern. The top of the order not being able to steal a base is a definite negative. By the way, what the hell happened to CLee being able to steal 15 bases or so? Definitely a heads up play by Graff last night on the tag up

Detroit? can't be the pistons, why the hell would you care about the tigers..Are there still hockey games being played??I thought the season ended 2 months ago you can't be serious

This is why you don't jump all over Koch and call for Marte to be the closer after 2 weeks. Everyone goes through this, he got rocked and if the sox would have lost people would be all over him....so relax about everyone...well, everyone but flash right now

NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, HEY HEY HEY, GOODBYE DETROIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YA BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

100 MPH fastballs? Maybe if Botch was throwing 100 MPH fastballs Sweeney wouldn't have hit the living s*** out of the ball Botch so nicely served up for him last night. Sweeney could still hit a 100 mph fastball out of the park, no doubt Not saying he couldn't..... just saying that getting the bat around on the ball to pull at 100 MPH would be harder for anybody..... even Sweeney. I'd like to know how fast Koch was actually throwing...i don't know how reliable the mph on the tv is, because i can tell it's been off before
-
I'm gonna be worried every time your name sake is brought in to save a game the rest of the season Yes, unfortunately people have probably been cringing all day having to read my posts

That picture was priceless...good stuff

I probably should be worried, but i'm not...i just don't see enough talent there to keep this up, but we'll see. It's stil way way way early.

ISU's still better than the U of I! As for the rink, I'm not quite sure about that. I'll check with one of my coworkers, as her boyfriend is on the team. Ya, they are building a full size rink...i don't know if you've ever seen the thing, but the dimensions are something like 125 x 60. You can't play games on that thing, we only practice there. It's a joke.

Your team is very very dirty too...there are a few good kids on the team, and we were talkign to their girlfriends during one of the games they played in, and they hate half the kids on your team. They got in a nice 4 on 4 brawl vs Western Michigan in the last tournament, it was pretty ridiculous.
-
Well, congrats, but we beat up on your team this year except for the first game. We ended up 24th in division I, we went 0-3-1 at nationals, got knocked out by delaware in a tight game. Heather do you have any idea if construction on the new rink has started in bloomington? It's supposed to be ready by fall so tournaments can be played here and both ISU and U of I don't have to travel to mich and ohio for every damn tournament.

If this happened twice to the Sox in KC, we'd be b****ing about not taking the field. It's a legitimate concern, and anyone that says Randa should be thrown at is absolutely out of their mind. Put yourself in his shoes...people have been all over the field during their games, it's not a safe atmosphere. What if a guy has some sort of weapon and gets a player from behind? It's very possible. I respect their decision to demand increased security. They have the right to be safe out there. The amount of money they make has nothing to do with it. You don't sign a contract saying oh well since you make a ton of money, the risk involved of being attacked by a fan, oh well you have to put up with that and if it happens oh well..you must play under unsafe playing conditions. Bulls***! Think about what you are saying here...don't be pissed at the royals when it's clearly our organization's fault. Don't move the blame or try to point fingers at other people
-
It's not worth the suspension(s) we'd have to face
-
See, i think the security at comiskey is a lot better than the security at wrigley, but it needs to be. Wrigley has a few actual security guys, otherwise they have a few early 20's guys in the bullpen, and old people "preventing" people from running onto the field through the box seats, the easiest way onto the field. I think this problem is more than just security. Like i said earlier, everyone says more security...specifically what? Guys sitting on the outfield warning track, or in every other seat down the lines in the first row? It's easy to get on the field if you want to, i don't see an easy way to prevent this, and just saying "more security" doesn't cut it.
