Maybe you should ask yourself WHY you dont like one of the best pitchers in the game, who happens to play on the team you supposedly root for. Does that make sense to you? Yes, it does. He does not want to play for us, his record and effort show that. He's won for other teams, and even beaten us doing it, yet he's not done anything for us. Which part of his 6-7 record do you like? Do you like to cheer for players who don't want to be here? Do you want to cheer for players who quit on us? I don't. Did you forget your medication?

Yeah at the time, I must admit, i was kinda pissed they put PK to bat in that situation, but hey it worked!! Oh, no kidding! I thought it was JM tinkering from the clubhouse!!! I was thinking he'd pop up to Guzman to end the game...But then this happened. WOW...That's all I can say about that. Seriously, that Konerko blast and then Frank fouling off all those pitches before blasting one, was just short of a miracle. It was truly amazing. One of the most exciting baseball games I have ever witnessed.

I guess the thinking was that he's still very young and Jeremy Reed is playing well in CF and we are going to plan on him being our CF of the future. Every sox fan here wants to see the sox do well. To some, it just matters more. I happen to be one of those people right now. The sox are one of the few positive things i can focus on, in my life right now. If i get down, or pissed cuz they may lose, its because I want them to win badly. Take it no other way and Im sure many of the other guys are the same way. Im a positive person but the sox have broken my heart way too many times. BMR....I have only been a Sox fan for about 8 or 9 years now, but to have only 1 playoff appearance in that time is very hard, and to have never seen the Sox win a playoff game is even harder. You can consider me being in the same category as you right now as far as wanting the Sox to win. And I think they will now. I think youre right.

I don't care, I just think it's funny that all of the ants are coming out of the woodwork now that we're winning. I'd say roughly 80-90% of all Chicago baseball fans (if not all fans... Chicago sports fans are really bad, IMO) are pretty much just fair-weather fans (we haven't won nothing in 80+ years, I don't blame them if baseball ain't a passion)... As long as they favor the Sox, they're cool... Not that I'm calling anyone a fairweather fan, but a bandwagon jumping Sox fan is still a Sox fan. Id say 80. I know many die hard fans, and im one of them.
