Well maybe if he can play RT or possibly guard or something. I know that PFF knows more what theyre evaluating than I do but as a fan watching him play LT, Webb has been an absolute trainwreck. Granted, he wasnt exactly put into a position to succeed by Tice/Lovie, but that doesnt negate the fact that he would get absolutely dominated 1 on 1.

I dont really want Webb anywhere near the starting OL

If it was Clady Id be all for it but I almost think we would be better served using that cap on some lesser name OL a TE and some depth. If we get Long I wouldnt hate it but Melton is only 26 and is very important for the future of our defense. Hes one of the few players who is very valuable now and should continue to be post Peppers, Briggs, Tillman etc. Dont get me wrong, we NEED to upgrade the OL in as many spots as possible. Im thinking the absolute minimum should be 2 new OL, but Long will probably be overpaid for his production and he would really limit what else we could do.

Even if that were true, which I dont believe, there is no circumstance where he is completely innocent. It is still absurdly pathetic how much sympathy he tried to milk out of this from the media and the extremes he went to when he was lying about it before he was caught. If this was an elaborate hoax then the amount of time that went into it is so ridiculous that its almost unfeasible to believe. I just dont understand how that after Teo was made aware this was a prank and ND allegedly investigated it that they couldnt get more information about what happened. Could they not trace the numerous cell phone numbers Teo was calling? Such as the girlfriends and her brothers and family. What was the dads motivation to lie about her coming to Hawaii? Then the most obvious red flag, the fact that the interviewer from SI went out of his way to clarify that she had an ipad and the fact that never once in the entire time they were dating or knew each other that he never tried to skype or facetime with her. Not to mention little absurdities like not going to visit if the girl you love is on life support and theyre going to "pull the plug." SOME of this stuff can be refuted with the excuse of Teo being quite possibly the biggest idiot in the world, but theres just way too much there for him to be completely innocent. Theres just no way.
