As nice as it would be to land Long I think the chances of him ending up actually hitting FA are very unlikely.

QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 10, 2012 -> 01:00 AM) David Wilson and Philip Rivers on the bench in favor of Felix Jones and Jay Cutler. So... I've got Andre Johnson versus Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Lloyd tomorrow. I'm losing 136.24 to 136.52. Its tough to play Wilson, although Felix with Murray back isnt favorable either. Lets hope that Hernandez doesnt play tomorrow. Thatd be amazing.

Brandon Marshall.

Sick Devin, f***ing sick.

Id be curious to see what Cutler, Marshall, Jeffrey and a competent receiving TE could do behind a real offensive line.

3rd and 1 and we go shotgun and throw it down field. If anything I hope Tice loses his playcalling responsibilities after this season.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 6, 2012 -> 03:39 PM) I will make it quick because this is probably a SLaM discussion, but I learned a lot of "Last a while" meals when I was in college because take-out was just too expensive Lol Im actually interested in these. I try to do this to save money so if you dont mind shooting me a pm of some easy stuff Id appreciate it.

Ok here is my dilemma. In the talkbears cash league I have Brady and RG3. I drafted Brady in the first round and grabbed RG3 late because its a keeper league and you lose the round before the one you drafted the player in the previous year, which is why I didnt trade RG3 at any point. I considered trading Brady but wanted to see more out of RG3 and wasnt getting much value with any offers. Also, passing tds are worth 6. Ive started Brady the entire season despite RG3 being ranked higher than him in a few odd weeks. Now that the playoffs are here I have Brady going against Houston at home which might be a tough matchup. I have to keep going with Brady dont I? Wouldnt it be a little much to bench my first round pick for the first time in the playoffs? RG3s matchup isnt great either against Baltimore. Then in another league, this isnt the playoffs yet in this league, should I bench Fitz for either Lloyd or Maclin? Or I suppose I could use Pettigrew as the WR/TE flex spot over Fitz also. Fitz has killed me most of the season so I wonder if anyone else has cut their losses with him yet.

Notes from being at the game -The way Cutler keeps plays alive by moving in the pocket is seriously asinine. He is so much better than he gets credit for. -Brandon Marshall is a man. They knew we were looking for him and they simply couldnt stop it, he is just unreal. -Our defense looked slow. Israel Idonije got beat on contain basically every single time Wilson did a play action pass bootleg. -Wilson looked impressive for a rookie. He made the plays when he needed to and kept drives alive. -Bennetts drop and not kicking the FG on 4th down in the first half was a mistake. -The officiating seemed to go the Bears way. I still cant believe they overturned that TD catch.

Hitman Absolution was awesome. Ive never played the Hitman games before but I really enjoyed it.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 28, 2012 -> 11:16 AM) Except the Bears. Neither their wins nor their losses are very close. I guess you could say the Houston game was close but the Bears were pretty much sunk without Cutler in the second half. Panthers and Lions were both pretty close.

Its worth a shot. Isnt this the guy that Haynesworth curbstomped?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 27, 2012 -> 02:05 AM) Before I forget, and something that is generally pretty subjective (as opposed to Bryant's pinkie clearly being out of bounds), I just want to say that the final play of the Colts-Bills game (besides Luck kneeling) was a total and bulls*** ticky-tack PI call given the circumstances. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/v...d8-b9c977fda043 The play starts at 2:58. There is clearly contact made by the cornerback, but as I see it, he simply had his arm on the left side of Reggie Wayne's body and his placement does not effect the ability for Wayne to make the catch whatsoever (unlike Randy Moss's obvious non-call in the Saints-49ers game, which, as I recall, led to a score, if not a touchdown). I'm obviously biased, and can see how it would be called, but you would think that, given the circumstances of the game, they would let the guys play a little bit towards the end of the game. The Colts made a risky move, Wayne didn't run a great route (and actually pushes off of Gilmore on the intial move in the route), and Luck didn't make a great pass...yet the PI call is made based upon Gilmore putting his hand on Wayne's side, knocking down the pass (which, it can be argued he used the hand contact as leverage, which I wouldn't deny either), and then the two falling at the end of the play. I just think that one is so close that you let it go, which is why I was as frustrated as I was with the call. In all likelihood, the Bills don't drive down the field and score, but I think, given the circumstances, that call was unnecessary. It was tough to see from that angle but it was pretty close. I could see the call going either way but as you said in a situation like that Id always prefer to let them play and not let a flag decide the game.

Updated Nov. 24: CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that Jay Cutler has passed all of his concussion testing and will start on Sunday against the Vikings. La Canfora reported on Thursday, after Cutler put in a limited practice, that he was expected to start, but the quarterback still had to be cleared by an independent neurologist. Jason Campbell, mercifully, will be relegated back to No. 2 duties. Cutler is no more than a QB2 for fantasy purposes, but he is one of the more undervalued players in the league. His return bodes well for the entire offense's outlook.

QUOTE (SexiAlexei @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 05:11 PM) Unfortunately they are kind of right. When you have the 30th ranked passing offense, there really isn't much worse you can do. Yes there is. Not saying Campbell is bad or a bad option for a backup, but it doesnt matter where their passing offense is ranked, having a guy step in that hasnt been playing much and isnt as talented as the starter you can do worse.

My problem isnt as much people being scared of certain breeds I guess, its with the idea of local governments restricting certain breeds being able to be owned. If you choose to own any dog you are ultimately responsible for its actions. If someone is willing to take on the added responsibility of owning a dog that has a stigma attached to it like a pit bull then I think they should be allowed to. Its not like youre letting it roam the streets unattended, when theyre outside they are on a leash and the owner should control its interactions with people. Maybe worst case scenario require a permit to make sure people who own those types of dogs are capable of handling them.
