I like how I can watch the tigers and sox game at the same time -
well I think going to tomorrows game, but with the chicago bar association so I don't really help the sellout quest

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 16, 2006 -> 03:26 PM) Because someone yelling at them from the stands always fixes everything. Just win it, boys. 3 of 4 is just fine. I meant ozzie -

gotta win this I hope someone yelled at them last night because something was really lacking -
wow lets get Javvy the f*** outta here and bring in the pen on another hopefully more optimistic note I'm heading out tonight so if the sox manage to come back and win I won't be able to start the gamethread until tomorrow afternoon

wow first hawk tells a story that he has never told before then JD drops the ball now this is strange
-
hmm, that sucked
-
ahhh dye he was in a rare turn turn turn mode, otherwise he could have driven that to right field
-
QUOTE(Reddy @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 07:57 PM) if i recall correctly we didnt match up too well against the sawks last year. espn just didn't believe in our pitching in reality because of the pitching we matched up quite favorably
-

QUOTE(Reddy @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 07:51 PM) lol at DJ... sox fans familiar w/ pods King looking... well thats something to be proud of maybe because he never swings at an 0-2 curveball (especially against lefties) wow what an awful double play
-
good hitting gooch
-
that curveball aces him every time
-
there hasn't been a sweeter time to score since the 4th inning of yesterday's game
-
QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 07:45 PM) Despite the popular opinion, Pods' defense is much improved over what it was in the beginning of the year. yea he dropped like 7 flyballs the first 3 months and 1 since
-
lol shealy is really slow
-
considering how hard we hit hernandez I'm not worried maybe he forgot his adjustment

lets make it to the post season before worrying about tickets -
I forgot my dad had a near miss it was my first white sox game ever (1995 or 96 I can't remember) and we were playing the twins we were in the right-center field bleachers and robin ventura hit a 3-run homer right at us. I was completely oblivious to it all while my dad tried to catch it, but some guy pushed him down and stole the ball from him

QUOTE(suffering-nomore-sox fan @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 09:40 AM) I caught Paulie's near homerun in game one of the ALDS, first inning, last year. But that's not all of the story. I failed to tell my wife that I was going--I figured it was a day game, I would be home at the normal time. Well, lo and behold, I catch the ball and what happens next? Espn puts me on for about 6 seconds holding the ball. The CEO of her company calls her into the office, and she sees my Ferris Bueller moment. Also, in a matter of 1 minute, I got 20 phone calls-- very cool. The pic of me on my profile is the moment frozen from TIVO. I kept the ball and gave it to my 5 year old. He has it on display in his room. alright your the guy I mentioned in my post in your avatar the guy in the upper right corner with the really long hair is my cousin, and I was a couple seats down from him as I tried to get the ball

QUOTE(Bonderman38 @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 12:32 AM) Really, Bonderman is better on the road than at home. Home- 12 Starts 4-4 4.54 ERA Away- 12 Starts 7-1 3.01 ERA Much of that home failure was early season. Still either way, you are lucky you don't get him. He's a stud. lucky I bet if we beat him he would have mysteriously started to tip his pitches too :

I was inches away from the ball that konerko hit in game one of the alds that some guy on this site caught (it was his avatar I think) I tried to reach for it with my hat but I wasn't close enough to the aisle to catch it, and it rolled to him

with a laugher tonight the sox look to keep the intensity high to continue beating the royals vazquez has been successful against the royals this year, and the offense is grooving so as long as we can avoid the bad-team/low intensity-mental block, we should ok
