  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 12, 2011 -> 10:20 AM) Combine Lilli and Gordon and you have yourself a deadly hitter. Lillibacon!!!
  2. That was one heck of a catch by the Stealth Elf. What else can he do to win a spot in the everyday lineup? He's hit decently and with surprising power. He provides speed and who knew how good he'd be defensively in the outfield? LF, CF, RF...doesn't matter where, he's been a stud out there.
  3. QUOTE (Yoda @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 07:09 PM) Can I admit and say that not one guy in our bullpen really has the "stuff" to make the other team think "we're screwed"? At times several have looked like that guy. They just can't maintain it.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 07:00 PM) Playing Viciedo only 4 days a week in the field is foolish. Yeah but at least he'd be here and not in Charlotte.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 06:58 PM) Actually play Lilly 3 days in left and three in center. Dayan four in left. BigEd likes this (even better).
  6. QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 06:48 PM) What more do you need to see Ozzie? Meet your new left fielder -- at least four days a week. Just do it. BigEd likes this.
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 06:45 PM) What do ya know? A bunt. On the road, down one late. The correct call even tho some Sox fans explode when we do it. But we don't don't do it well.
  8. Six hits(incl. a homer), 9 BBs, 1 HBP, a balk, 3 SB = 3 runs
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 06:37 PM) So you're saying we should completely eliminate our bullpen and throw complete games every night? Bullpens are over-rated....who needs 'em?
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 06:27 PM) With D1 having retired 6 in a row now, yeah, D1 is going to start the 8th. 104 pitches so far. How 'bout we get him another run, or 5 or 6.
  11. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 06:24 PM) You get the feeling that Ozzie will push Danks as far as he can into the 8th inning before he goes to a reliever. Around 100 pitches now. I don't know if I have that feeling, but it would be a good thing.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:33 PM) We're #7 in MLB in total HR and #9 in solo HR this season. We hit a lot of solo HR because we hit a lot of HR. Seattle broadcasters were talking the other day about Konerko's last 9 or 10 homers off Seattle...ALL solo hrs.
  13. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:32 PM) Yes, we've had a few major leaguers. Juan gone, irod, Castro, Luis aguayo, Joaquin Quintana(played in the 70's), Hector Valle( played in the 50's or 60's) and Edwin maysonet(who played briefly in 2008 or 09 with the Astros) I remember Quintana and Valle, not Maysonet though.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:32 PM) Wow, cool catch by Stone on how Suzuki is sending the signals. Sorta thing that has always made me think Stone would be a GREAT coach/maybe manager.
  15. The last 5 years or so....do we lead the majors in solo home runs? Not exactly complaining, but jeez!
  16. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:27 PM) Yes, home town of Juan gonzalez and irod too Really? He's in good company.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:24 PM) Good call. Agreed. That could be considered calling it.
  18. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:23 PM) C'mon Ramon make our hometown proud Vega Baja, Puerto Rico?
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:11 PM) He's going for speed He's all alone.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 05:08 PM) 63 pitches through 3 innings for Gio. Don't think he's going the distance.
