  1. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 06:04 PM) Rios might break at bat over his head. Buehrle might break a bat over Rios' head. Well, he's too nice a guy really.
  2. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 06:02 PM) This guy is basically trying to walk everyone, but hit or miss you know AJ is always swinging at everything. EDIT: Oh, look... he got a hit. Reverse Jinx FTW!!!! I love the reverse jinx!!
  3. QUOTE (Cali @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 05:52 PM) Andy Oliver is who we thought he was! And we let him off the hook! I just hope we don't keep doing that EVERY f***ing inning.
  4. Yep. I seriously hope Mark can shut 'em out tonight.
  5. QUOTE (Wanne @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 05:41 PM) He actually looked like a little kid that got pissed at a toy or something...kinda made me chuckle. Well, hopefully he can channel some of that anger towards opposing pitchers now.
  6. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 05:40 PM) That's probably why I missed it. I only look up at the TV when the pitch is coming, otherwise I am surfing the interwebs. Don't even wanna know what you're lookin' at when it isn't the Sox.
  7. Bases loaded and NO outs and who do have up? AJ and Rios. Ugh.
  8. QUOTE (Bighurt52235 @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 05:23 PM) AJ batting cleanup makes me ill, but whatev. Same here. I feel kinda woozy.
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 04:20 PM) Konerko scratched with a wrist thing. He'll be ok, sounds like. Dunn will start...and he'll get a hit off Oliver. I promise. You promise. Alright then....I'll go one further. I'll promise he gets TWO hits.
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 2, 2011 -> 08:49 PM) f***IN AWESOME!!! DIRK!!!!!!! And there was much rejoicing!! Go Mavs!!
  11. Lillibridge starts from here on and finishes with 41 HRs. What a gigantic disappointment that we're now projecting Dunn with such low HR totals. I'll say he finishes with 26. I'm still hoping he goes on some sorta rampage.
  12. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jun 2, 2011 -> 07:22 AM) That's what I would have guessed, but I didn't remember. Thanks. For s***s and giggles, here's my partial list of possible (probable?) users that played with Hurt, I know I'm forgetting about a million guys, feel free to help: Maggs Caballo Valentin Bo (didn't he admit it?, I can't recall for sure) Albert Belle (rage explained) Rowand Pitchers: Lil' Bulldog, Parque (+others who could never touch the majors without some help) Fatty Wells (just strikes me as a guy who wouldn't hesitate to gain an advantage) ?Those are all good guesses. I always wonder who the guys might have been that no one would ever have guessed.
  13. A great read! Watching Frank hit, especially in those early years was so special.
  14. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 05:18 PM) Ohhh lordie did we ever, since 1980 till robin took over full time we had: Jim Morrison Aurelio Rodriguez Vance law Scott Fletcher Luis Salazar Steve Lyons Donnie hill Kenny Williams Lorenzo gray Carlos Martinez Bobby Bonilla Tim Hulett Eddie Williams Wayne tolleson Anybody else? Kevin Bell, Junior Moore, Gerry Royster, Fran Mullins. Ron Santo and a host of others if you wanna talk about the 70's. Actually Kevin Bell is more from the 70's, too.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 03:41 PM) 1b - Konerko 2b - Kendrick ss - Alexei (Homer pick over Asdrubal) 3b - Beltre (No good choices) C - Martin DH - Dunn Ortiz OF - Bautista Joyce Granderson (Sorry TCQ) 1b- Votto 2b - Weeks ss - Reyes 3b - Polanco (everyone is hurt) C - McCann OF - Berkman Braun Holliday (Kemp/Bruce next) Mine were similar but I went with Longoria at 3rd (he'll probably win anyway), Young for DH and Quentin instead of Granderson. In the NL.....who cares about the NL?!
  16. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 01:30 PM) We owe the f***ing tigers a sweep. Get it. Ohhhhh for a good homestand. I'm feeling it, besides my daughter is heading to Chicago and will be going to all the Seattle and Oakland games. GO SOX!!!!
  17. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 01:27 PM) Not here What?! Red Sox Nation doesn't stretch to Montana?
  18. Anyone feelin' sorry for Red Sox Nation?
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 01:23 PM) Ouch. Bad choice. Yeah, but you gotta go with him now and then.
  20. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 01:19 PM) Paulie is one of the top couple of players in Sox history. He's up there somewhere for sure, but better than Frank. No f***ing way.
