  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2011 -> 01:17 PM) Who promised them that? The Draft Fairy.
  2. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 8, 2011 -> 11:28 AM) Vargas might suck historically, but anyone with a sub 4 ERA this far into the season as a starter, isn't exactly crap. Regardless of the periph's. Not to mention the fact that in 3 of his last 5 starts he allowed 0 runs. However, with that terrible Seattle offense, he only won one of 'em.
  3. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 8, 2011 -> 09:11 AM) Given the weakacity (I just copyrighted that word) of the M's offense, I expect another Sox victory, 5-4 good guys. Is there any truth to the rumor that Danks has requested a trade to whichever team has the most games remaining with Seattle?
  4. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 7, 2011 -> 04:16 PM) The fact that he likes Lil Wayne concerns me even more. This kid has no taste in rappers! I thought that too....well, actually bad taste in music.
  5. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 7, 2011 -> 01:32 PM) White Sox 14th rounder: Mark Ginther, 3B, Oklahoma State. 6-3, 200 pound junior. Uh-oh. From his Oklahoma State profile (note: favorite team): PERSONAL: A business major ... son of Jim and Pam Ginther ... born Dec. 4, 1989 ... dad played football at Kansas State ... has an older sister, Laura ... favorite movie is American Gangster ... favorite team is the Chicago Cubs ... favorite musician is Lil' Wayne ... chose OSU because of the coaches, its location and because of the baseball history and tradition.
  6. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jun 7, 2011 -> 03:17 PM) I first read that as Teahen in CF. Lol Haha. I did that yesterday. For a brief instant I thought Ozzie had Konerko in RF.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 7, 2011 -> 05:56 AM) I never thought I'd say this, but I actually think we have a decent chance with Humber facing Felix. He went toe to toe with him last time. Yep and then along came Matt Thornton.
  8. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 09:30 AM) Thanks everyone. Here's our little Sydney Parker: Hmm. Kinda looks like Adam Dunn. Congrats!!! Ahem! A female Adam Dunn. Umm, a cute female Adam Dunn.
  9. I don't even care that Adam Dunn went 0-4 with 2 Ks and GIDP....because THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!! And FINALLY for Danks. What a relief.
  10. This is great! Nice to have Robin with the White Sox in any capacity. Welcome back #23!!
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 12:28 PM) I find it comical that we burned a 6th round pick on Kenny Williams, Jr. I don't know if comical is the word I would use....but, yeah something like that.
  12. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 09:54 AM) Like to see Danks get that win tonite. All three games are on the Fox NW channel, which I get, but they are the Seattle announcers. You take what you can get though Haha. Well, here in the Seattle area you can bet I'll be watching the games. I'm hoping I'll be able to spot my daughter in the crowd. She'll be at all three games, pretty good seats too from what I understand. At least I won't have to be watching on my computer. I've seen a lot of Pineda and he's the real deal, that's for sure. I hope Danks comes through with a good one. Edit: AJ batting 5th.....sigh. I wish Dunn would start hitting dammit.
  13. Well...........at least what we have going for us is that Danks is DUE for a win.
  14. As I recall Bauman was a pretty decent hitter. Though he was no Gary Peters. Now that I think about it it's be nice if Rios or Dunn would have that kind of day at the plate.
  15. Well, sucking at home has continued.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2011 -> 12:17 PM) Pierre's caught stealing seemed to turn around the momentum in this game. What little momentum there was.
