  1. JD pretty much is the offense right now. Wonder if he would be willing to move to CF???
  2. We have already lost 2 of 3 in the series since CC is pitching tomorrow.
  3. Let me be the first to say that I can certainly see the difference in having Uribe back in the line up tonight. His defense is certainly a difference maker.
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) We're at home, so if we get to the 8th inning with a lead, Jenks comes in if it's close, and the ballgame ends, thus we don't come to plate in the 9th. We'd have to pile up like 6-7 runs or leave another 15 men on base for that to happen. Otherwise, if it hits the 8th inning and we're down a run or two, Mack will pinch hit in the hopes of getting a hit. So it'll basically take Cliff Lee being destroyed for Anderson to get >3 at bats. I certainly hope he gets like 6 AB's, but the way some of our guys have been hitting lately.... Perhaps if we strikes out three times on 9 pitches, we can count it as 0-4.
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 06:13 PM) He's going to get 4 at bats? Unless you suspect Mackowiak is a nice defensive replacement.
  6. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) Dye>>>>>>Ordonez Perhaps this would make a great future thread. Maggs = little b****, Dye = clutch
  7. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:04 PM) Well ... I understand your sentiment but this guy has been nothing but respectful IMO. He seems like he's just here to talk baseball, not troll. I reluctantly agree.
  8. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) Seems like every time the White Sox walk a guy, he scores. And Maggs has walked twice (actually hbp once). Scored one of two times. Let's not walk him next time.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:58 PM) Kevin Walker should be on that list. Done
  10. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:57 PM) Hey Greg, I'd recommend that you remove Billy Koch from that list. He didn't light the world on fire with us like he had in Oakland, but he was likely suffering from that Mystery Muscle Disorder that's ravaged him, and, in my view, he at least had some reason to have fallen to pieces unlike others who just didn't have much talent. I will consider it. He still sort of acted like a little b**** as he was falling apart saying he deserved to be the closer.
  11. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:53 PM) Score should be easily, easily 3-1 right now. But this team sucks at doing the little things. Mass Chaos in the streets! Public hangings! Slaughter the first born in every household!
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:53 PM) He probably wouldn't have scored, but Pods wasn't exactly busting his ass out of the batters box on his triple. I noticed that too.
  13. QUOTE(BFirebird @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:42 PM) Luzinski...you can probably add Parque and Todd Ritchie to that list. Will do.
  14. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:40 PM) I'd rather have Granderson than Anderson. ......
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:37 PM) Crede hit that ball very hard, but right at Polanco. I like the swings our hitters are taking on Verlander so far. Agreed. We can get this guy.
  16. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:35 PM) f' that. aj had a terrible ab and we just couldnt come through It baseball, you can't win every time. A team CAN best you once in while you know.
  17. Gotta tip your to Detroit that inning, good defense may have saved a run between the play at third and the dp.
