  2. Let the Meltdown continue...
  3. Only Cubs players worry about their teams announcer.
  4. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 3, 2006 -> 04:22 PM) And he still had the range of the Bull.
  5. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 3, 2006 -> 04:20 PM) Think about how quickly Rowand built a reputation of being a great player. In the middle of 2003 KW had to get Everett, a DH basically, to play CF because Rowand wasn't getting the job done. Rowand came on in 2004, and in 2005 was average at best offensively, and played a decent CF, although he had a 2 or 3 week stretch of being awesome, even though his throwing was far more erratic than ever. I think Everett was about 50 pounds lighter in 2003 too.
  6. QUOTE(Felix @ Jun 3, 2006 -> 04:17 PM) Ever heard of a guy name Jim Thome? I think he makes the offense pretty potent. Whoops!. I meant the line up without Thome not Konerko.
  7. Lest we forget, Carl Everett was logged significan experience in CF.
  8. Pods, LF Iguchi, 2B PK, DH Dye, RF AJ, C Crede, 3B Mack, CF Cintron, SS Gload, 1B With the exception of Gload in place of Thome, this may be our best offensive lineup. Ozuna at SS is the only possible way to make it more offensively potent. If Javy K's a lot of Rangers, which is a possible, this is a good risk.
  9. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:46 PM) I heart choke avatars They are suddenly envogue again.
  10. Is Billy Koch still available? How about Shingo?
  11. I think KW may be placing a call to Jose Panyagua.
  12. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:15 PM) 2006 White Sox Baseball ... Watch the year go up in smoke.
  13. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:33 PM) Do they let that guy leave his drum at the park, or does he have to haul it there every game? Good question. I suspect that he sleeps in the drum just outside the ballpark.
  14. Jeff Nelson??? Was Bobby Thigpen unavailable??
  15. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) Oops. I will take credit for ironic motivation.
  16. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:20 PM) Politte cannot see the mound tonight. ... but we all know he will.
  17. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:18 PM) Cue the ABBA music. Dancing Queen???
  18. 2006 White Sox Baseball ... Watch the year go up in smoke.
  19. More runs won't matter when Politte pitches the 8th and 9th
  20. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:08 PM) WE HAVEN'T HIT OUR STRIDE YET, HOMESLICE11!!!
  21. Rather than talking about all of the things going badly, let's list the things that are going well. 1.
