QUOTE(Wedge @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:38 PM) any chance BA or Uribe do some damage? I just checked the temperature on the weather channel. The weather is still unseasonably warm in hell. Sorry.

We never seem to lose games this year so much as we fail to take advantage of opportunities and win the game. cough ... cough ... Brian Anderson

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) Politte should only be used in blowouts, and to bean guys. I suggest Politte take Timo Perez's old job and Ross Gload current job of growing spider webs on himself on the bench during games.

QUOTE(fathom @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:17 PM) It's just amazing how consistently bad he's been this year. He had a stretch on the west coast where he was getting a favorable count in a lot of ABs. Besides that, he's been awful at the plate. And lets be honest...he's not hitting into bad luck either. It is really tough to think of another every day major league hitter that has struggled this long and made so little progress to continue to be an every day player. Robin Ventura 0-41 can't hold a candle to this drought.

For once, it was not Brian Anderson that killed an inning!

QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:06 PM) I would take some pitchers over Anderson if I had to choose a hitter. Kerry Wood is a helluva hitter

Anderson batted 3 times for us, when is the pitcher batting for Cleveland?
-
White Sox @ Indians
Would it not be easier on us all if the second Brian ANderson stepped into the batter's box, the ump just raised his fist and called Brian out. The pitcher would have to throw his usually 3 pitches, and sox fans would curse a lot less in the direction of their TV. I am soooo f***ing sick our automatic outs Uribe and Anderson.

White Sox @ Indians
Brian Anderson is absolutely wothless with a bat in his hands.

Jon Garland poll.
QUOTE(WCSox @ May 29, 2006 -> 11:58 AM) Unfortunately, $10 million/year is way too much for that kind of a pitcher. I don't disagree.

Sox @ Indians (May 29 @ 12:05 p.m. CT)
I hate seeing Uribe in the starting line up. A guaranteed 0-3 or 0-4.
-
Jon Garland poll.
Garland is an innings eater and a good back of the rotation pitcher. He got a ton of run support and won many games early in the season last year. Expecting those same conditions to be replicated this year borders on foolishness.

I don't like having Jenks cleaning up other people's mess.

You have got to be f***ing kidding me

Athletics vs. White Sox
If Frank hits the rest of the year, the way he has against us this series, he may have a decent year. Unfortunately, he will only see Jon Garland once or twice more this year.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 24, 2006 -> 09:06 PM) I dislike 2006 Politte. His fans are few.

Glad to see Taylor won American Idol for all of the balding and prematurely gray men in America.

The Entire Polish connection is in the line up tonight: Pods, Konerko, AJ, and Mack

I realize now that it is no longer bad to see Frank Thomas make an out.

Haren started the inning with only 44 pitches, ugh!?!?
