Was it just a ball in the dirt with a good effort by Graffy? And I should congratulate Graffy for going 3-4. He is another of our few offensive contributors. Unfortunately he just messed up in the field. Berroa the ninth hitter just got on because of Graffys throwin error... Because Frank does not have the speed... It doesnt take much to take a base on a wild pitch. But whatever, the play didnt matter anyways... It takes a LOT for 300lbs to go from stopped to run. I'm listening to it on the radio and know he never would have made it.

Have you guys seen the reports about how Sears is treating its reservist employees who are called up? By law, the employer is required to hold the individual's job open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people serving our country take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being called to active duty. Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all called-up reservist employees for up to two years. I submit that Sears is an exemplary corporate citizen and should be recognized for its contribution. I suggest we all shop at Sears, and be sure to find a manager to tell them why you are there. The company then gets the positive reinforcement it well deserves.

The Sox release a ton of tickets near to game time. You can likely upgrade your tickets. But I agree with cw. The UD is fine to watch a game. Besides, we'll be winning HUGE so everyone will likely be paying more attention to their refreshment intake

I mentioned last week that he was with a group of Seals on or near the West Bank.... my aunt called my grama who called me and said that he was with the group that got the information about the POW's in the hospital. He did not participate in the rescue, but he did aid in getting out the other bodies. Since my aunt told this, I'm guessing I can tell it too... Seems that on Friday troops backtracked because they heard "Chemical Ali" (I think that's right - going off memory here) was hiding in an area that had been "semi-secured" When they returned to the area several Iraqi's gave them info regarding the holding of several POW's in the basement of a hospital. 2 seals went in "undercover" to verify and they found them, returned to base and planed the rescue. My uncle said the deceased soldiers were beaten bad and looked to have burned with cigarettes all over their bodies. Also, and this is really gross, that one of them looked like his tongue had been cut off/out (maybe because he wouldn't talk, or wouldn't stop talking?) That's all I got. My grama couldn't remember a lot of the details. But sounds positive that Iraqi are helping the US soldiers.
