Hollywood hypocracy
If Kravitz's anti-war song is anything like the Beasty Boys' piece of garbage, then stick a fork in it At least the Beastic Boys vote though.

Hollywood hypocracy
From The Smoking Gun... In conjunction with the Rock the Vote organization, Lenny Kravitz has just released an anti-war song that's supposed to help the group motivate young people to vote and defend free expression. But the rock star himself hasn't seen the inside of a polling place in nearly 11 years. Details at: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/kravitzvote1.html

We can't. Extradition isn't possible without government cooperation and France simply doesn't want to get involved. Their stance has been as long as he doesn't do anything wrong here, we're not stepping in. And since he's the equivilant in France to what an American is here in the USA (kinda like a citizen) we can't just "go get him". As for the rest of your post.. you are just crazy

Thanks apu
to you and Steff and others, yes you have, my reply was to kipwellsfan who thinks it seems that I am a black hole or something. And Steff, I am experiencing all kinds of dimensions to your thoughts that I find fascinating. It is a real plus when we get past one dimensional cyber speech and discover the nuances and complexities and fullness of other's thinking. My appreciation and repsect grows daily. Hmmmm... I'm having a bit of trouble interpreting these comments... (insert smiley scratching her head here)

Nice article on Mark from espn
I resent that. My immaturity has nothing to do with age. ROTFLMAO!!! Here we go again...

Germany. His mother was killed in a concentration camp as a matter of fact. His late wife was Sharon Tate who - along with his unborn child - was murdered by the Manson clan. Germany? Really? With a name like Polanski I would have thought he was from Poland Perhaps his father was polish..? Regardless, I'm sure if he was to return to the States there would be a shark that would use the "Wife Murdered by Manson Disciples" as a defense to rape. :fyou Lawyers Not possible. He pleaded guilty and was already convicted. Doesn't matter though. he'll never come back.

Anyone listen to Howard Stern this morning?
Are you talking about the listener-edit of MetallicA's "Don't Tread On Me" where the song plays while snippets of Howard from 09/11/01's morning show is played intermittently? If you are, I love that goddamn edit. Wish he would post it somewhere for download Yep. I think he said he was getting a lot of requests for it and might put it out there. I get the chills everytime I hear it. Cabbie was friggin awesome that day!

No ties to Bin Laden, eh..?
ditto. ditto ditto A few thoughts... 1) SADDAM HUSSIEN IS A BAD MAN. 2) SADDAM HUSSIEN HAS ATTEMPTED NUMEROUS GENECIDES 3) SADDAM HUSSIEN SUPPORTS THE RAPE, MURDER, TORTURE of his own people. 4) SADDAM WOULD NOT COMPLY BY UN resolutions for 12 years. 5) SADDAM tactics of war have only cemented all reports of his absolute evilness. 6) UN inspections were a joke. 7) Read the reports from the former head of the Iraq Atomic Commision and try to sleep at night. 8) Read a report about the survivors at Halajba. 9) Where did the FEDAYEEN train? In Bin Laden's camp. In the real world, if Saddam and Osama were not connected, the FEDAYEEN would have not been allowed to train in Afganistan. 10) Read Saddam's Legency on the Dateline website. 11) Go to CNN and look at the mural the Marines found. 12) 5000 chem suits discovered. Why would the Iraq need these? 13) Antropine Injections...not your usual medicine cabinet necessity. 14) Dressing your soldiers as civilians, (that is a sign of a honest good president.) 15) HUMAN SHIELDS... 16) The treatment of our POW's v/s the treatment of their POW's. 17) Gov't controlled TV v/s Embedded free press reporters.

cw.. it's simply a comparision of 2 groups of people. I don't see any subliminal message.

that chemical plant found
I saw it.. and when they panned to the audience and focused on Lou Gossit Jr (sp? - the black guy who played the Army Sergent in "An Officer & A Gentleman") there were several people booing. And even Tim Robbins and Susan Serandon weren't clapping and cheering so I don't believe a word of that.

Josh Hamilton
ill tell you when you get a bit older LOL.. Everyone is to young for everything today.

Who's smarter
Hu..? Then how do you judge it? Streets smarts vs book smarts I can buy that to a degree.. but unless one is successful (and I'm not talking a 4.0 here) in an atmosphere where they can learn (and be taught) basic skills (problem solving specifically) to succeed in life.. then what do they do? How do you function if you aren't guided in the right direction? By the way, home schooling counts, IMO.

Im really excited about our pitching staff
I agree with you 100% He's got a calmness about him. It's good to see it. Garland is on FIRE! No concerns about him, and not even any about Colon. I will admit though.. I am a bit concerned about Mark. I hope the reporters just keep their mouths shut about his contract status. From 3/31 to 9/28 it should be all baseball.

Confirmed: Sox will carry three catchers
Is that why his face always looks like that As for why management is so stupid... well you knew it was just a matter of time before they went back to their old ways. It's 2 steps forward 10 steps back with this organization.

Story on ESPN.com
Speaking of the "attitude change" thing.. is Baker still standing behind resting Sosa "once in a while?". I can not wait until that happens. Hide all the rum bottles!

The youth card he played on me? If our profile are somewhat accurate he has me by a year an a half. I can't wait to be so enlightened next year. If you think maturity has anything to do with age, you have a lot to learn...sonny. And it doesn't? Life experience - which comes with age - doesn't aid and help you grow and not make stupid dumbass decisions (and comments)? And isn't it that ability to not make such things called maturity?
