The way the stadium is facing has something to do with the direction of home plate. All new stadiums home place directs southeast from what I've heard? This could be an urban legend.. but I've heard it several times.

I don't see JR willing to pay for anything. We'll have to agree to disagree. It's not JR's complete decision. And it's not "his" money. This will get done, and you'll be surprised when it's sooner rather than later.

Well it all depends on how much they can get up front. So while the deal was for 68 million or whatever it was, all they may get is 30 million now. And no construction group is going to have JR on a payment plan. I've been told they are getting approximately $6 mill a year. But that means nothing since as long as they sign a contract with a contractor the work will be done and payment on a payment plan. They could also borrow against the guaranteed funds but I don;t know how likely that is considering the status of the economy and the history of cell phone companies the past 5 years. US Cellular could be bought out in 2 years and the new owners don't have to assume the deal (nor does the White Sox - thus another name change).

How many do you need..? I know that there are several great lower bowl seats still if you want to buy singles. To be honest.. the UD is a great place on opening day. I've sat there 9 out of the past 13 years and I like it.

I strongly suggest those attending to follow HSC's advice. It seems to get soooo cold allofasudden down there. Dress very warm (you can always take the extra clothes off ) and bring a blanket or something to sit on to keep your butt warm.

Steff, I don't care if he tells me to go to Hell or whatnot. It just shows that he has no argument if he has to resort to personal insults. I don't entirely agree with that.. but the jist of it is that there's got to be a better way to debate. there is you just have to know your s*** your debating for if you just jump on the war bandwagon or peace bandwagon chances are you can not debate, but if you really care about it, you will learn about it, and thus having a better argument for your story. I agree with that. My point is that there's no need for the s***ty way some people treat others in regards to their political views.

Oh geezus. If we had won today we'd be 1-1. We're 0-2 and it's "off with their heads!". So we end up 160-2. I hate to see if we have a 3 game losing streak later in the season. That's why we're Sox fans....we get pissed when we are guaranteed a good product and we are shown no signs of a good product. Let's hope they can get their heads out of their asses real soon. I gotta feeling that all we will need to get going will be a huge ass kicking of the other team....whether it be like us physically kicking the s*** out of the other team.....or us just blowing them out like 17-6 or something like that in a game.
