  1. QUOTE(jphat007 @ May 13, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) Stay on the f***ing base Paulie. THat ball came right to you. Why were you trying to tag him? He wasn't, he was charging the ball... like you are supposed to as a fielder.
  2. Just thinking about it, we can't really complain because of the Angels game in the playoffs last year But anyway, this was complete bulls***. Sox 4, Twins 1, Umps 4.
  3. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 13, 2006 -> 08:45 PM) Sometimes the 4th out is the hardest to get..... Joe Crede dropping a Manny Ramirez popup last year
  4. He was out! The foot was on the base.
  5. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ May 13, 2006 -> 08:30 PM) What the heck was DJ saying about Farmer and Singleton? He was saying that Singleton was wearing sunglasses because Farmer was wearing a bright yellow shirt.
  6. Gooch takes second And Singleton wearing sunglasses because of Farmers shirt is hilarious
  7. Pods has more triples this year than all of last year
  8. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 13, 2006 -> 07:37 PM) Holy s***! Cintron hits Mauer on the head with his bat. Benches clear! Is there a reason for posting this?
  9. QUOTE(daa84 @ May 13, 2006 -> 07:08 PM) mlbtv has the sox audio with the twins video going right now...weird Yea, I'm seriously confused

    Garland

QUOTE(G&T @ May 13, 2006 -> 05:55 PM) Plenty of teams give much worse contracts to mediocre pitchers. That doesn't make Garland's contract any better, especially with the no-trade clause for '06.
  11. QUOTE(WCSox @ May 13, 2006 -> 05:33 PM) I don't want to watch it in a tiny Windows Media Player window on the computer in my guest room. Well, I watch it full-screen on my 19" monitor. Its not as big as my TV, but its not making me squint my eyes.

    Garland

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ May 13, 2006 -> 04:43 PM) You don't give out 29 million dollar contracts to relievers. You don't give out 29 million dollar contracts to mediocre starters either, but that was already done.
  13. MLB.tv is great, and its not that bad a picture considering its going through the net. I put it full screen on my desktop monitor, and its fine (but I'm not a stickler about having amazing picture anyway)
  14. QUOTE(SAC @ May 13, 2006 -> 12:33 PM) We should have no problem winning tonight. I also think that it is funny because I dont care about the Twins at all just because they are so dam bad. The major reason that they won last night is Johan. I didn't know Johan hit the ball too! Wow! They won last night because of two people, and both people have first names that start with J and pitch.
  15. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 13, 2006 -> 11:48 AM) Awesome news! Let's hope that 44 year old back doesn't flare up again. 44? You are being too generous. 45+ easy
  16. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 12, 2006 -> 11:50 PM) Just a question here. Before this season, and be honest here, who thought Rowand was going to get back to his 2004 hitting and not what he did last season? I'm a Rowand fan, so yea, I expected his numbers to go back up (although not as good as they were in 2004).
  17. I don't know if I can watch the rest of this game. I'm already sick, and this isn't helping
  18. QUOTE(jphat007 @ May 12, 2006 -> 09:48 PM) Might as well let him save our bullpen for the series. Pitch as long as he can. I wasn't specifically talking about this game, I was more refering to why is he ever starting? We have better options *cough* BMac *cough*
  19. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 12, 2006 -> 09:48 PM) And he's on the DL while Santana is pitching. Who knows how Contreras will pitch when he comes back. Besides, Santana will have better numbers than Contreras by the end of the season anyways. I thought you were an Indians fan, but now I see you are really a Twins fan
  20. Why is Garland still starting? These are the Twins damnit, not some high powered offense.
  21. QUOTE(3RDBASE @ May 12, 2006 -> 09:36 PM) stupid...lol...yeah ok...who wants a stupid WS ring, certainly not Santana. Jim Thome and Barry Bonds don't have World Series rings. Timo Perez does. OBVIOUSLY, Timo is much better than both.
