QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 4, 2009 -> 06:59 AM) About a quarter inch of your whiskers. That's probably true. But I just got this shaver so I have to get my monies worth.

Selena Roberts really hates ARod..
Essentially the Today Show interview established that the book has only anonymous sources and no one will confirm the information on the record. Roberts' sees the evidence in the book to be the same as the evidence in 2003 which ended up being true.

electric razors
I use a Norelco Arcitec. I used some other Norelco for years before this one. I have never used a razor, so I don't know what I'm missing.

THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2009 -> 08:28 PM) So, let's see, if I told you before the game that Nix, Lillibridge, Betemit, and Alexei had 5 hits between them, including an extra base hit...and I told you Nix was having a great game at 2nd base...how would you feel about our chances in this game? I'd ask if CQ had a hit.

THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
Davis makes that play, but Betamitt can't catch a ball right at him.
-
THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
Danks didn't cover 1st, so not helping his cause.

THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
ARam didn't go for that ball. Great job buddy.

QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ May 3, 2009 -> 08:12 PM) doubtful, thinking too much during an at-bat is about the worst thing you can do as a hitter, and i'd imagine being as intense and angry as he is, especially when he misses good pitches, that he doesn't have a million things going through his mind You should read this.

I love that baseball players are ALWAYS picking their noses when they are on TV.

THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
The Rangers are hitting everything. The last hits were in off the plate.

Nix with a nice play right there.

THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
Oh boy. All sorts of bad defense.

THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
Nevermind, Danks can make it disappear too...but Kinsler has magic eyes that can see it anyway.
-
THE Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers
I don't like the fact that the ball disappears when it crosses the Minwax sign... at least, I hope that's just on TV, because if Harrison can make the ball disappear then the Sox have problems.

- And that's a White Sox Winner!!!
QUOTE (BearSox @ May 2, 2009 -> 10:43 AM) So what, shouldn't the pitch count increase with every outing than instead of decrease? You've just proven my point. Not with the bases loaded and Jim Thome coming up.- And that's a White Sox Winner!!!
QUOTE (BearSox @ May 2, 2009 -> 09:47 AM) He threw 77 pitches and had one out to go... It wasn't the pitch count that led to Washington taking him out, it was over managing. Feldman also had Thome's number on that night as well. And in his first outing he went 79 pitches.- And that's a White Sox Winner!!!
QUOTE (BearSox @ May 2, 2009 -> 09:28 AM) I think we all owe Ron Washington a big thank you for last night. Talk about a boneheaded move by taking out Feldman. Maybe the results would have been the same if Feldman stayed in, but taking him out right there was retarded. I know for a fact if I was Feldman, I wouldn't have given Washington the ball. f*** that, I'm having a great game, and as soon as I give up a couple of hits, you take me out? That's complete BS. I wonder what Nolan Ryan thought about that move last night from Washington... I am 99% sure Ryan didn't like that move one bit. However, as a White Sox fan, I'll take it! This was only his second start of the season and was on a pitch count (per the Texas broadcast). Plus, Thome can't normally hit lefties. I don't think it was that bad of a move. - And that's a White Sox Winner!!!
