  1. Thome grounds to second.1 out.
  2. Freddy showing up the ump.
  3. That bullpen door is going open soon unfortunately.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 05:55 PM) Wise definitely is an automatic out unless they walk him. I didn't like Freddie's grin. I think he knows he's got us. I think he knows 2 guys hit hard liners and he's lucky they weren't hits.
  5. Christ. Dye better get a hit. The worst thing for Gavin right now is to be right back out there.
  6. Gavin might not get through 5 with this pitch count.
  7. Well as much as the delay sucked for you guys, for me I actually get to watch it.

QUOTE (Texsox @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 10:57 AM) The policy at my University clearly states plagiarism as taking the work of "others". That is repeated throughout the document. I do not believe a student that uses their own work twice would be guilty. I edited my post to show what I'm talking about.

QUOTE (Texsox @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 09:53 AM) You can plagiarize your own works? Seems odd. Then by extension, can you use yourself as a source? If you are published, then yes. And it is stupid that you can plagiarize yourself, but at Marquette the professor were clear about not allowing people to resubmit their work. Some, however, permitted re-submission if approved by the professor and altered to the purposes of the class. This is from my law school's handbook: I've heard of plenty of students who have used their papers multiple times and they said their schools didn't care.
  10. QUOTE (Cowch @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 11:10 AM) I figure if they win I'll take off early tomorrow, if they lose I'll be happy I didn't watch it. This is my approach as well. I have to work today, but I have class tomorrow night. Skipping class isn't as bad as skipping work.
  11. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 10:21 AM) Lucky those getting to go in person for this game. I will have to decide between ESPN2 (HD) or WGN (non-Hi Def), but I'll most likley be loyal to our folks and watch Hawk and DJ At least you can watch it. I'll be at work where they won't even let me use game cast. I'll be relying on updates here.

Let me put it this way: if you get caught, it's plagiarism(at least at any school I've been to). If the professor or teacher allows it before submission, then there is no problem. That said, I don't know that it should be plagiarism. If you do the work, I find it ridiculous that you can't draw from your own work product.
  13. Actually I fear the Tigers not caring. I have a feeling they are going to be swinging for the fences on every AB. Danks has been leaving a lot of pitches up lately and that could spell disaster. edit: whoops! Thought Danks was going today. So Floyd better keep the ball down.
  14. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 28, 2008 -> 04:21 PM) Fathom my pal you are a riot. I luv ya man! And there's no such thing as "local" WGN Yes there is.
  15. QUOTE (PlunketChris @ Sep 28, 2008 -> 03:12 PM) Do we have a scouting report on this guy? Yeah, hit him before he starts to glisten.
  16. Wow. A matchup of traded guys. Garcia v. Floyd.
  17. PK not taking a good approach here.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 28, 2008 -> 03:04 PM) Get Horacio up in the pen! EGAD! Don't even mention that name.
  19. Royals being the Royals.
  20. Juan not going on contact?
  21. Wise fouls off a squeeze bunt. Lucky too because that was not a buntable pitch.
