  1. 44 pitches...eek
  2. Pablo on the spot.
  3. I'm watching the Twin's broadcast and they were talking about Johan against the O's and saying they did a good job hitting first pitch fastballs. Well the Sox have gotten first pitch fastballs and they're looking.
  4. I like where this is going.
  5. Ump must have respect for Thome's eye.
  6. QUOTE(BearSox @ Apr 7, 2007 -> 12:30 AM) Bring back Royce Ring... I was looking at the draft results from 2002, and it sucks so much that we missed getting Cole Hammels by 1 pick!!! Whatever happened to Ring? Wasn't he considered our closer of the future? And then even when he was traded to NYM, they considered him their future closer... I think he's still in the Mets organization. I'm pretty certain I heard his name mentioned in a Mets spring training broadcast.
  7. Error is better than bunt.
  8. I got double billed. I can't get through to their call center either despite spending 30 mins to and hour on hold every day. I never checked my email since I didn't want auto-renewal.
  9. Anderson in to run.
  10. Well there goes the DP. Good steal.
  11. Is that 4 walks for Hafner?
  12. Molina is catching, Ozuna at short.
  13. QUOTE(bigruss22 @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 02:32 PM) garland looking shaky now letting up a double, triple, and single, are they going for the cycle? Good call.
  14. They should be blacked out, but right now I'm getting blacked out in Albany because my credit cards are linked to Chicago. Which is why I'm on hold with these people...and have been for a while. So it's possible that it might work.
  15. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 31, 2007 -> 01:45 AM) So did you see him pitch in Philadelphia, Scanton-Wilkes, and in the AFL last year? just curious of course, because I'd assume if you're making such statements, you'd say so. Actually I was basing it on what Cowley said so I guess you have to ask him.
  16. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 30, 2007 -> 12:45 AM) http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines I'll keep these quotes handy in the future when people try to distance Williams from Floyd's failures. I believe it was Joe Cowley on the Score yesterday saying that Floyd believes that Coop has already turned him into a completely different pitcher. He didn't look any different.
  17. Quick question if anyone is still cares: Isn't this the exact same bullpen they talk about in that HORRIBLE radio commercial about the fireballers? I think it is, and I know people have brought this up before, but, unless I'm wrong, it appears the bullpen was set by the marketing department.
  18. So here's a question about today's game: is anyone surprised that Iguchi hit well batting second? Is it a forgone conclusion that he will bat lower in the order, or is it possible that he might be allowed to hit where he is most successful?
  19. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 26, 2007 -> 05:14 PM) I'm actually afraid after reading that post on MLBtraderumors. Nothing is definite, but just the fact Philadelphia is attempting to trade him if frightening. Please Williams, prove to me you realize Anderson is no worse of a solution than Rowand. All it says is that the Phils don't want him to get hurt before they trade him, and the crazy guy running the site thinks the Sox are the top suitor. Blah.
