  1. Not to mention it was actually true. He was basically a year older than the average A+ pitcher, which is very unusual for a real prospect.
  2. Yeah, there was a write up around the time of the signing about how tradable that Williams contract would still be in the modern NBA, which is nuts to me, but apparently true.
  3. The one that also never gets mentioned is the murder of his best friend.
  4. Yeah, the idea this has been all in his head, but nothing to do with his injuries to his most important tool (his legs) is laughable.
  5. Looks like a solid scouting opportunity
  6. And we already know that Moldy can't catch, so that won't be a problem
  7. Especially when you have the injury history that Crochet has.
  8. Sale had a better base, much closer to his innings explosion, than Crochet did. I have yet to see anyone as a comp for what Garrett is looking at this year. I have asked a bunch of times, and there has never been one provided.
  9. The 2003 era changes really did a ton to make it a solid ballpark. I think if it was anywhere else but 8 miles from Wrigley, it would have an entirely different reputation.,
  10. It's sad, but true now.
  11. I was hoping a change of scenery might do it for him, but I wonder if the leg injuries sapped his real talent. Love the guy, appreciate his struggles.
  12. 100% they are treating him like they don't care about his long term health implications. That's the first thing that told me he would be traded.
  13. He was over 50% in his first 10 games worth of ABs too, which tells you he has adjusted well.
  14. tf does it matter what we call it? The previous group failed miserably. Time for the next guys. This is a business, and if you want to win, you don't build around dog s%*#.
  15. Great logic since we have Crochet and Robert and we still have all of the Lopez, Moldy, Phams of the world we can handle.
  16. Off Day 4 White Sox 3 Sox pen coughed it up in the 8th and 9th
  17. About half of that list was draft picks. And if the Sox concentrate too much on pitching in these trades, they will surely not have enough offense. There are only a couple of these deals which will bring them high level offensive potential. If they get pitching instead, this rebuild is in trouble very early.
  18. I mean if you are going to count Vaughn as a player for the White Sox for 2025 and beyond, he has to have a finish that is much closer to this, versus what he has been his first four years.
  19. We have actually pumped out pitching on a fairly regular basis, but it also has never been on the success rate at which you would need to be at to say that all of our pitching can come from this system from 27-30.
