  1. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) For the last time Timo does not have small balls! Just don't tell me how you know that.
  2. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) This is not Ozzieball. Crede popping up. Guys GIDP is more like last years offense redux. Corpseball 2005!!!! I was waiting to see who would be the first to say that. Kinda like Hawk and Moneyball, you can always count on "Corpseball" being mentioned when the Sox don't score.

  4. Nice to see Freddy pick it up, now let's see the O return the favor.
  5. Bo is on with John and Ed now...
  6. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:46 PM) we best not get shutout by Millwood..... And it will probably happen after everyone kept ripping on him for sucking.
  7. What is Freddy's pitch count now?
  8. C'mon Carl, lets get this going!!!
  9. Hopefully that will wake Freddy up a little bit.
  10. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:11 PM) but it was supposed to rain heavy today.......it still might. Oh its on its way.... http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USLocalWi...op&prodnav=none
  11. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:05 PM) Yeah they are all on here...... Maybe we can do like the Cubs and charge you for not even being there.
  12. For all who are playing, don't forget your picks to clicks!!!
  13. QUOTE(mreye @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:37 AM) Me too! LIAR!!! It's Mrseye
  14. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:20 AM) I agree with this assessment. Hearing Rowand discuss selflessness on the field one day into the season is a little premature. This is why listening to Hawk can become unbearable. Last year it was "Ozzieball" hype for nearly two straight months, and now he'll compliment Ozzie's "smallball" philosophy until our team falls apart. If Hawk says "Ozzie finally has a club assembled which fits his style" again, I'm going to smash my TV with a sledgehammer. Do yourself a favor and turn on your radio then. I would bet the first bunt attempt or situation that calls for a bunt will have Hawk cooing again.
  15. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:45 AM) I agree, but doesn't it seem that Human Rights picked Carter? I've come to believe that Clinton is intellectually deep but shallow of character. And because of that he would make an incredible spokesperson for just about anything. He could go on TV and in front of millionaires to try to get us to help the poor (insert cause here)'s of the world.
  16. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:39 AM) I think he would make a great UN Ambassador. I also doubt a GOP President will nominate him, and I don't see a DEM winning for another couple terms, so that may never happen, or happen too late for his best years. Carter has Human Rights as a cause, what can we identify with Clinton? That's the one problem I see with him really creating a post Presidential legacy. He'll think of something. It is obvious that he wants to do SOMETHING. I have no doubt he will pick a cause.
  17. LMAO @ Spiff.
  18. QUOTE(mreye @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:00 AM) Ford's still alive? In all seriousness, Ford is like 92 or so now right?
  19. QUOTE(mreye @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:16 AM) I can agree with that. I think he's changed from the "Me me me" kind of guy since the heart attack, et al. I hope you are right. For what we are paying these guys, it is nice to see that they are still contributing to society.
  20. QUOTE(winodj @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:01 AM) You can limit your Congressman's term every Second November. Good point. People never do enough research and instead vote for the familiar names. That's how we get 40 year representatives.
  21. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 09:28 AM) I'm so tired of this crap. The Sox will blame last season on anything and everything except the fact that the pitching f'n sucked. Now apparently the Chicago White Sox are saying that Carlos Lee was a meanie. Do they need a goddam scout mother? Carlos has not been taking shots at the Sox, JUST SHUT UP AND PLAY. This is just more of the same crap from the media. They have all of these unattributed quotes that they are passing off as inside information. None of the Sox are actually talking about this stuff, but the media is still trying to push and find people to talk about this, even though no one will anymore.
  22. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 09:15 AM) Like I said earlier, Carter never showed up at Pope Paul VI's funeral in 1978, why would he want to go now, when he isn't the president. Or at John Paul I's for that matter... Wasn't there some kind of tiff where Carter said something about Catholics that pissed someone off?
  23. I send it back when I remember..... Put us down for two
  24. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:38 AM) What exactly is so special about these movies. I mean I haven't seen even one of them and personally never care to see one. What is so good about them. To be honest most of you on here are probably too young to get it. The Star Wars movies were something that completely changed a genre of entertainment. They were the Beatles of sci-fi. They did things that had never been done, and you have to put it into the context of 1977 to understand it. It's just like watching War of the Worlds today, and thinking it was just another crappy black and white movie.
