  1. Diekman's pitch was three inches better than that first one of this inning.
  2. Today is a tail of two strike zones. This is trash.
  3. You can tell he is starting to wear out in the last month or so. He isn't as sharp nearly as often. His stuff is not playing up like it was the other 90% of this season.
  4. And again, he has already said this contract he is under will be his last.
  5. I finally found the perfect clip to describe the relationship between the Sox and their fans.
  6. Again, it is a public confirmation that everything about the Tony LaRussa regime has been a worse case scenario. [Qanon has entered the chat] I would not be the least bit surprised if this "information" that Rosenthal got came from Rick, Kenny, or both.
  7. It would nice to get someone, anyone really, to start asking tough questions to the front office.
  8. Tito knows the Sox have the better team and is doing everything he can to will his team into the playoffs. Talk about 4D chess.
  9. Sounds like he pushed the Menechino theory to the extreme. All of the sudden they are free, and hitting homers left and right.
  10. McKenzie has given up a .502 OPS against the Sox this year, to go with a 2.12 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 17 innings. I am shocked that Francona is ducking the Sox with him, but maybe he fears the Cairo changes. Hopefully Tito is overthinking this.
  11. It was mostly a joke mocking the neutered Chicago media.
  12. For all of the people who wanted to get rid of Dylan Cease during his struggles (and you know who you are), this is why you let kids with big time arms struggle and try to figure it out. You can teach a lot of things, but you can't teach freak genetics.
  13. Well there goes Ken's access to the Sox.
  14. Eloy as a DH this year. .304/.378/.536/.914 and a 154 OPS+. That is actually above his 149 OPS+ as a LF. Seems like he can DH just fine, he just needs the right coaching.
  15. Kenny has already said this contract is his last. And not saying anything is very loudly saying everything.
  16. Well, let's hope this is a role reversal of 2012.
  17. The crazy thing is the Sox still control their own fate. Not by much, but they do.
  18. Apparently he did his updates via zoom today.
  19. The fact that Hendriks had to say that things wouldn't go back to the way they were even if Tony comes back isn't a good thing. It means they have to worry about him losing the team again. And again through all of this, not a single senior White Sox official has been willing to speak up on behalf of Tony. The tenure of Tony LaRussa has been a full worst case scenario.
  20. That whole article is an indictment of the last two seasons.
  21. And holy crap that article is chilling.
  22. This can't be true. I was told this was all because of Tony.
