All I have to say is that this trade is EVERYTHING that is wrong with MLB. This couldn't happen in ANY of the other major sports.

I would keep either Buehrle and Millwood/Colon. I would lean towards Millwood because those shreded shoulder rumors scare me about Bart.

They are actually I read something Friday that said the Hawks actually did make a profit, where as this survey showed them with a loss. But because of the Hawks shares of concessions and parking, and their profits from being half owners of the UC, they made a tidy profit. (Forbes Magazine) But these are the kind of things that happen where I don't believe baseball at all when they cry broke. Same with JR.

They looked good today tying the game late in the 3rd and winning on a Ruutu goal in OT. The kid is finally starting to come around, and the return of Zhamnov has really done it. Too bad he won't be around too much longer because they are a much better team with him. That is pretty obvious.

There is no worse moment than the phantom pitcher in the bullpen. I was at that game with my college friend from Cleveland, sitting right next to the Indians pen, with a perfect view into the Sox pen. I'll never forget when he pointed out to the pen, and they came out with their arms up like "who the hell do you want?"

The closest you can get now is to try to hit some of the small town rivalry games. When I was broadcasting Manchester/Whitko was the game to see. Heck try to take in a Kokomo/Marion game when they are both good too. There are so many good ones, I could go on forever. But there is a reason that 7 of the 10 biggest high school basketball gyms in the USA are in the state of Indiana.

I did get to see the 1995 state finals at the Dome which was the year South Bend Clay beat Valpo. Actually I got broadcast the whole final 4 for our college radio station. It was one of the most incredible days of my life. It was like living history. 30,000ish people in one building for a HS basketball game. The year I went to Conseco for finals was cool, but the no class state finals at the Dome blew it away. You were watching without a doubt THE state champion, not the state champion(S).

I absolutely agree with the authors assement of Conseco. That is by far the best of the new hoops arenas. And for any fans of IN HS basketball, the state finals at Conseco are a MUST see. I was down there a few years ago and got to see the likes of Zach Randoph, Jared Jeffries, Sean May, and Brody Boyd. Great times, great arena.
