  1. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/5376576 Well actually, he didn't even mention Podsednik. You can see his reviews for the rest of the A.L. Central teams at the link. Tigers in 2nd place?
  2. Ozuna started the game at SS and I believe it was Andy Gonzalez and Jorge Velandia that played SS later in the game.
  3. Recap | Box score Notes: Konerko play provides relief Guillen not happy with way team is losing in dropping to 0-5 http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=cws
  4. The Sunday Tribune comes out on Saturday.

  6. I agree with you. The offense was frustrating to watch but the defense was downright pathetic. Thankfully, it's just ST and a few of the errors were committed by guys who won't even make the roster. Ozuna better work on his throw to first base. He had two bad throws to Konerko. I guess this is what ST is for.
  7. They made every damn player in the game look way too fat. I'm waiting for MLB 2K6 to come out. MVP Baseball.
  8. According to the Sunday Tribune, the Sox have invited ex-Pirates bust outfielder J.J. Davis to minor-league camp. http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/D/jj-davis.shtml Davis was the 8th overall pick of the 1997 draft.
  9. Munoz has the advantage of being out of options, just like Borchard and Gload. Maybe the Sox don't want to risk losing some of these guys. Otherwise, Javier Lopez has apparently impressed.
  10. The Sox are leaning towards only keeping 11 pitchers now according to this article. Buehrle Contreras Garcia Garland Vazquez Cotts Hermanson Jenks McCarthy Politte Second lefty Pierzynski Widger Crede Gload Iguchi Konerko Mackowiak Ozuna Thome Uribe Anderson Borchard Dye Podsednik
  11. Borchard impressed me with the two singles he hit. He actually showed the ability to go the opposite way and he wasn't just hacking for a homer with two strikes.
  12. Did anyone see it? It shows highlights from the World Series and then says "REPEAT" at the end. Awesome commercial.
  13. Right now, Arnie Munoz and Javier Lopez are the guys to watch. Munoz has looked good so far and has the advantage of being out of options so the Sox may not want to lose him. Lopez has the funky submarine/sidearm delivery that could help him get lefties out.
  14. No righty stands a chance now, IMO. They have all looked bad and Ozzie wants a second lefty. Borchard, Gload, lefty.
  15. I think he already lost it with the Sox leaning towards 11 pitchers. I really think that Ozzie wants a second lefty so that means Borchard, Gload, and a lefty.
  16. Redding was giving up some shots but he was mainly throwing in the strike zone. He got out of a lot of trouble though.
  17. Bajenaru is sure not impressing. He walked a guy with the bases loaded and gave up a tape measure shot to Chris Carter, whoever that is. Hopefully, he will improve. Urbina needs to break out of jail or something. Chad Bentz was really, really bad.
  18. Borchie wants that last outfielder spot. Man, Grieve is a freaking butcher in the outfield.
  19. Well, Scott Merkin of WhiteSox.com says that it will be McCarthy. Scott Reifert says that it will be Contreras. I guess we will find out soon...
