  2. I agree. It makes sense for a big salary team like the Red Sox to trade Marte if they want to. IF Youkilis pans out, they could move him back to 3B and sign a top free agent 1B like Derrek Lee or Mark Teixeira in a year or two once Lowell is gone.
  3. I think that Coco Crisp would fill a huge hole for the Red Sox if he can play good defense as an everyday center fielder. But if the Red Sox end up keeping Andy Marte, I'm sure he will turn into an All-Star third baseman in the future.
  4. I do know that sentences begin with capital letters.
  5. Yes sir. By the way, the Red Sox are favorites for the A.L. East!
  6. I can't find a quote because the search engine doesn't work. I'm sure you know this though. I could care less though. You have shown your homerism enough times that I don't need any proof. COCO CRISP IS THE GREATEST CENTER FIELDER EVER!!!
  7. And you are not a White Sox fan. Everyone here has known your true favorite team since your crybaby s***-fit when the White Sox swept Boston. Jesus, I don't post about the White Sox at SOSH. I could care less if you post here but leave the homerism at the door.
  8. As a side note, you are a homer. Get off your high horse. Last season, you were spouting about how good Damon was in CF. Now that Damon is gone and Crisp is rumored to be heading to Boston, he's the greatest CF ever. Give it a rest.
  9. Anyone who says that Joe Crede is a "top third baseman" needs to lay off the crack. He's a "top DEFENSIVE third baseman."
  10. Using redandwhite's own quotes against him is fun!
  11. IF Crisp plays good defense in CF he would probably be a top CF'er in the MLB. His numbers from LF sure aren't special though.
  12. What in the f***balls is this quote by you supposed to infer then?
  13. He has lost any credibility in this argument.
  14. And I'm sure you've seen enough of Coco Crisp playing CF, right? I doubt it and here's my proof... You mentioned that you are sick and tired of seeing players run on Johnny Damon's arm but you seem to think that Coco Crisp's arm will be a major improvement. If you saw Coco Crisp playing defense, you would know that his arm sucks. Hilarious. If you didn't know that Crisp has a sucky arm, how the hell are we supposed to believe that you know that Crisp plays good defense in CF?
  15. LOL, Coco Crisp has a horrible arm as well.
  16. Last year, Damon was better in CF and career-wise he is better in CF than Crisp. I'm just using stats to back up my statements because I have never seen enough of both of them playing CF. But you are using Crisp's defensive stats in LF to prove that he is a great defensive CF. That's completely ignorant.
  17. What does that matter? Paul Konerko was the best hitter on the best team in the MLB last season. Does that mean he was a better first baseman than Albert Pujols or Derrek Lee? Nope. A team wins, not just one player. You can't hold it against true aces on other teams for their teams not winning anything.
  18. Eventually, we will probably sign Frank to a 1-day contract so he can retire as a White Sox.
  19. Better than the Twins I suppose. Okay, someone cue the Frank in A's hat Photoshop...
  20. So I'm picking and choosing stats by using ERA but you are using a great stat when you bring up their respective career records? Hehe, W-L record is the absolute worst judge of a pitcher's talent. By the way, ERA+ is park adjusted. I never said that one guy was better than the other. I think they both equally suck and I don't see how it's a downgrade or an improvement for the Indians. Now, going from Millwood to Byrd IS a pretty big downgrade.
  21. Ummm, no? please, pal, enough. Leave your homerism at the door.
  22. Say what? Scott Elarton 5.10 career ERA 89 career ERA+ Jason Johnson 4.88 career ERA 91 career ERA+
