  1. Rotoworld.com is probably the best site for the latest news. The deadline is 11:00 P.M. central time tonight.
  2. I love how you actually used logic to prove your point.
  3. Two bench guys who can play second base -- Mackowiak and Ozuna.
  4. What do you think will happen with Borchard?
  5. So who signs Willie? I could see the Cardinals being interested.
  6. Urbina would be a good pick up but I think many people would be very upset with him coming to the Sox. I remember how many people didn't want Pierzynski because of the clubhouse cancer rumors. Of course, attempted murder charges are a bit more serious than being a clubhouse cancer.
  7. Oh, come on. Timo was a good bench guy in 2004 but he was very bad in 2005 and should have never been leading off for us at any point in the season. I think everyone agrees and I'm not the only one who is extremely happy with this move.
  8. Nothing could be more tiresome than seeing Timo Perez leading off for your favorite team.
  9. Ozuna's versatility makes him more valuable than Willie. Willie plays second base, that is all. He wasn't good in center field and he didn't want to learn how to play shortstop in the winter league. That's why he's gone.
  10. No big surprise here, although I did think Willie could net us a mediocre prospect.
  11. http://www.thenewstribune.com/sports/marin...p-4888715c.html One bum for another I guess.

  13. How funny is it that the Sox had to put it in Pierzynski's contract that he couldn't wrestle? http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...ack=1&cset=true
  14. Could this guy be the greatest team player in the MLB?
  15. Excellent posts. I agree with you both.
  16. Kenny Lofton just signed with the Dodgers and he was pursued by Arizona to serve as a one year stopgap for Young. So Young actually has chance of being Arizona's starting center fielder in 2006 if he has a strong spring training.
  17. I know ESPN's scouting reports are lame but they said the same thing. Blalock started to try to hit more homers instead of just linedriving the ball and his offensive numbers went down.
  18. Turn him around? Blalock's worst season was still as good as Crede's best season. What would these executives want their coaches to do to Crede then? Implant him with better hitting genes?
  19. Crede owns a .743 career OPS in a great hitter's park. That's even worse.
  20. Okay, so you DO think that Crede = Blalock. Just wanted to get it straight.
