No big surprise here, although I did think Willie could net us a mediocre prospect.

....and all of soxtalk rejoices.

Perez has almost no value on the market but it's a bit frustrating they couldn't land something in return for Harris ... a low level prospect even.

Wohoo!! OMIT TIMO!

Except for the Willie lovers. ;)

There you go. My sentiments exactly.

However, as many of you know, I'm thrilled to see Willie gone.

Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out, Cooperstown!

He gone.

No surprise on Timo. Harris I wasn't sure about.

Good luck to them both. Willie did some good stuff for us over the years, and I think he'll get picked up as a utility up-the-middle guy somewhere. Not sure about Perez - maybe a minor league contract.

If Blum cost a prospect, Willie could bring one.

Willie's better than Osuna.

Anyone else worried about Chisoxfan14?

Hey you leave Rex out of this

Ozuna's versatility makes him more valuable than Willie. Willie plays second base, that is all. He wasn't good in center field and he didn't want to learn how to play shortstop in the winter league. That's why he's gone.

Before everyone gives Willie the boot outta town, just remember he started the White Sox 9th with a hit in game 4 of the WS and scored the winning run. Love him or hate him, he will ALWAYS be remembered for that...

Right on par with Julio Cruz crossing the plate in '83 in the AL West clincher if you ask me.

And Timo will always be remembered for some clutch hitting and Hawk freakin' out as Timo ran the bases.

You weren't the best players, but you will be remembered (at least by this group). Thanks and good luck.

Nah, Osuna was a pretty solid bullpen arm in his time here. Now Ozuna, I think he's a better overall player then Willie, better hitter imo even though Willie is more patient. The thing is Pablo can play almost anywhere and Willie refused to play ss in winterball.

DON'T BREAK UP THE TEAM KENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEY WON A CHAMPIONSHIP, WHY ARE WE CHANGING!!!!!!11

And Soxtalk has officially run out of whipping boys.

Isn't it something how much the talent's been upgraded this offseason?

Lets all have a moment of silence for Timo Perez, the shortest first baseman last year.

I wonder if Ozzie will return to the team after his MVP was non-tendered.

Watch Perez get non tendered and then brought back on a minor league deal, ha.

Timo's going to have a lot of clutch hits next season...in the Independent League.

I could see him being brought in as Uribe's translator. :P
