I look at it this way: It takes someone that's "athletic" to be able to drive these cars at those speed in that heat for 500 miles. That's why I view them as athletes and it as a sport. Just my opinion.

In my opinion, they want you to believe that the Sox/Cubs rivalry and hostility was the root of the altercation. It makes for a better story. Everyone knows, how much we "hate" each other and "it finally came down to this." That little teaser in the headline or the first few sentences gets the reader piqued. Sad, but true.

No, I know. But, alot of these drivers are very athletic now. They work out regularly and make sure they stay very healthy. What I really like about NASCAR is you don't hear about them beating up their wives, or busted with drugs, etc.

Jerko only brought it up to point out that Northsiders hate us as much as we hate them. Mac has been trying to make the point all week that Southsider have more hate in their blood than do Northsiders.
