Most of my friends growing up were Cub fans, but I've recently got to know some Sox fans in my area. It's great to finally be able to talk about baseball in general to someone that knows something. What relly pisses me off most about Cub fans is that the Sox could win the Series, lead the league in ERA, AVG and fielding percentage and they'd still say, "Your park sucks. You can't fill the place. Blah. Blah. Blah." f*** that! I'm glad they don't fill it. It means I can get a ticket almost anytime I want! And do you get 5 extra wins because you lead the league in attendance? I don't think so.

Everytime I watch him run I keep thinking: "He can't really be THAT slow, can he?" It's sad, it really is. I thought he was going to be held up at second last night on Jose's double off the rightfield wall.

Heather, it's about a little smaller than a Wal-Mart...but...it's three stories. Three big hexagons (or octagons) with all the escalators and stuff in the middle. It's a pretty awesome place. Lots of stuuf for the home from furniture to storage containers to pictures and kitchen stuff. IKEA

Love the optimism, Heather! I have faith. There's a lot of time left, and, like you said, the strength of schedule isn't in our favor, but don't we have abetter record against better teams? I don't mind people jumping off the cliffs. It kinda makes it fun once in a while.
