  1. QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Sep 20, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) Mustard is Gods condiment. Sure. Mustard is good. I love mustard. I have nothing against mustard. And if I did I wouldn't mock you for putting it on your hot dog. (Not saying anyone here has specifically mocked me. I'm just saying society in general, at least in this area of the country, think they know best and you are an adolescent for putting ketchup, a condiment found at 99.9% of hot dog joints, on your hotdog.)
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 20, 2006 -> 03:03 PM) I rather get a plain hotdog than put either ketchup or mustard on it..... Ketchup is for like 5-10 age group. This is my whole point. Why is it for the 5-10 age group? Why am I not allowed to enjoy ketchup because I'm over 30? Why can't the hot dog nazis let us ketchup lovers be?
  3. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Sep 20, 2006 -> 02:19 PM) its sports related? It is? X Box 360 is a sport?
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 10:57 AM) Ah, for once in my life I would have loved to have been dead wrong and ate a ton of crow. Mike's Chicken for lunch again?

  6. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 07:10 AM) That is the best political cartoon I've seen in a long time!
  7. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 05:09 PM) Hello, It's Me by Todd Rundgren is, I think, the perfect pop song, so I'd add that to my list. I think Twenty Five or Six to Four has to make my list as well. I loved me some Terry Kath. bmags, anybody who'd get on you for including Day in the Life and God Only Knows (great picks) probably also likes ketchup on their hotdogs, so they can pound sand. I'm starting a new support group: OKLA (Opressed Ketchup Lovers of America)
  8. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) Two of Critic's picks would make my list Thin Lizzy - Boys Are Back In Town Cheap Trick - Surrender I believe he and I both got ragged on by Gleason for it the last time we did this too. I'll have to think abot the rest of that list. I'll agree with that. I'd add some Southern Rock , Skynyrd and Allman Bros too.
  9. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 02:25 PM) My wife makes this sandwich...she calls it the Special Sandwich...I think it's special because she only makes it when liquored...but it is the following. Toast, peanut butter, fried egg, melted cheese. Yes, it sounds gross, but it's EXCELLENT! But I'd like you to notice...NO KETCHUP!!! Well, of course not. Ketchup doesn't go on fried eggs. That's just silly. I was referring to the mayo part.
  10. QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) I thought salt was for eggs. Or at least throw some mayo on a couple slices of bread and make a fried egg sandwich. You can put it on the boooooarrrrd...YES!!!
  11. QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 01:37 PM) I actually prefer Oscar Meyer hotdogs over beef hotdogs. With ketchup. I'm I the only weirdo that also puts ketchup and mustard on a brat? I put ketchup and mustard on a brat as well. But, I put it on a tortilla instead of a bun.
  12. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 12:51 PM) nothing beats the neon green relish and celery salt. Why dont you ketchup lovers go eat some pork hotdogs, beef dogs dont take well to ketchup. But see, that's my point. Ketchup does taste good on all beef hot dogs. It tastes good on beef hamburgers. It tastes good in a house. It tastes good with a mouse. It tastes good here or there. It tastes good everywhere.
  13. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 12:22 PM) I know it's a bit of a cliche' but I'm going to have to bring in an impartial observer. A man's man. Man Rule: Nobody Trumps Dirty Harry. But a cucumber is OK? WTF?

    Lunch

    QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:46 AM) For the beef? Solid choice as well. For the chili-cheese dogs

    Lunch

    QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:22 AM) Reviving the lunch thread, I am having a hard time deciding between Mike's Chicken fingers or going down to the new soul food place and seeing what is on special. Ah decesions. Luke's!!
  16. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 07:47 AM) Nice article. Kass riding the Mariotti coat tail for a few readers. The only thing better to a columnist in Chicago than being Mariotti is quoting Mariotti. John Kass doesn't need Mariotti. He's quite popular on his own.
  17. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 09:46 AM) They're old and set in their ways, what do you expect? Heck they probably still are listening to Zepplin IV on 8 track Or the Beatles.
  18. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 09:26 AM) Hey, it's ok to like ketchup on your hotdogs . . If you're SIX YEARS OLD! You are all freaks of nature and a blight upon decent hotdog loving society. That is all. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 09:30 AM) Children, what will we do with them? I figured you two old guys would be the loudest against me.
  19. Really cool. Only $5K from the NFL? QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 08:38 AM) I believe the Roosevelt school is the high school Howard Stern attended when he talks about being one of the few white people in HS Did you read the story?
  20. I LOVE KETCHUP ON MY HOT DOGS!!! Who the hell made of the "rule" that you can't have ketchup on your hot dogs? Ketchup is way more natural on a hot dog than pickles spears, tomatoes and celery salt. That's right, I said it. I HATE Chicago style hot dogs! Ketchup, mustard, onion, relish. That's all I want. Flame on.
  21. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Sep 14, 2006 -> 12:32 PM) This is a ridiculous start time after a friday night game. Probably a gopher game late that afternoon. You think? Sorry, I had to. This horse has been to death.
  22. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 14, 2006 -> 10:54 AM) Great now the ACLU is protesting on your lawn They're going to sink in all the mud then. This is perfect. Maybe if they get stuck I'll turn them into Christmas decorations this winter! Oh, the humanity!
  23. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 14, 2006 -> 10:32 AM) Great now the Audubon Society and Sierra Club want you too I also go to church every Sunday.
