  1. Can one of the Admin's change my group member name from "Member-Beuhrle Fan Club" to "Soxstradamus"
  2. Can someone please put a Sox uni on El Duque and Sox logo on this picture instead of that ugly-ass Yankee logo: http://www.totallyposters.com/ProductImages/posters/1107.jpg I'd like the background to be greyish/blueish instead of that redish/orangish and on the bottom I'd like it to say "Guess Who's Back?" Thanks a lot.
  3. Your right, sorry. I misread your post. I thought you said they have a better pitching staff. Nevermind then, we agree.
  4. Thats where I gotta disagree Molto. I think the Twins, as a TEAM, are better because they have been able to beat us in the past, but as far as ONLY pitvhing staffs, I gotta say the Sox are better.
  5. Happy Birthday my man! I see your 18....go out and vote! Whoops. Once again, Happy Motherf***ing Birthday!!!
  6. I'm not even going to argue. I was simply asking a question. I have no doubt in my mind that Santana might win 20 more games this season but that's what we thought about E-Lo too. You just never know. That was my point. Gosh, no need to come in and pick a fight right away. ::shakes head::
  7. He's still better than Willie but Willie has the potential to be better overall.
  8. Why are there Twins fans on this board? Let's be real. Pollitte finished off strong as hell last season. You gotta give him props. JViz, Herm, and Cliff will duke it out for the RH Set-up man spot this year.
  9. 1998-2000 is 3 years. Let me break it down: 1) 1998 2) 1999 3) 2000
  10. Who said he is going to platoon with Willie??? May the best man win.
  11. A pitching staff includes starters AND releiver so it isn't entirely based upon starters. Oakland is not much anymore without Mulder and Hudson, they are clearling rebuilding. Zito isn't what he used to be and I'm not sold on Harden yet. In order, I'd say: 1) Yankees 2) Red Sox 3) White Sox 4) Indians 5) Twins Yankee's are the obvious choice for #1. Their bullpen isn;t as good as before but ther stil have Mariano. Boston has lost Pedro and will probably lose Lowe but he never really shined in the regular season. Wells and Clement are nice replacements. They have a solid bullpen and Foulky is a great closer. The Sox have a solid rotation. Every starter is different and has his own niche. The opposition will never see the same type of pitcher 2 days in a row. Marte and Pollitte are one of, if not the best setup combo in the AL and we all know what Shingo can do. The Indians are the up-and-coming surprise. A great 1-4 in Sabathia, Westbrook, Lee, and Millwood. Their bullpen has had their ups and downs but they are solid as well. A good closer and they are on their way to being as good as the old Indians. The Twins only make my top 5 because they have won the division outright over us in 3 straight years. Santana is a great pitcher but can he be the next Loaiza???
  12. Of course, he was on fire all game. There's nothing you can do about that but I was mainly referring to the "and-1" in the final minute of the game where Ben fouled Redd in the act and pretty much put the game away.
  13. If anyone has ever seen Jackass: The Movie: Bam to Rake: "So what are your least favorite things?" Rake to Bam: "I dunno, probably, mustard...and period blood." CLASSIC! Good joke, BTW.
  14. Whoops????? It is Call of Duty: Finest Hour....I got CoD and MoH mixed up. Sorry.
  15. She is kinda hot but that Geneveive chick is hotter...by a lot! Wait, that's the blondie that never wears shoes right?????
  16. Well said quade. They ARE still young and it is ALMOST scary tp think that they can get better. If they can mature and get a good, winning mentality, the Bulls can make noise in the NBA.
  17. Hopefully. I still want Gruzd over Cora.
  18. yup... http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...lpark/index.jsp
  19. You guys gotta remember, he was hot the first month of the season. Remember how he was leading games off with hits to the opposite field ALL the time against RHP. IF he gets on a roll, he a pretty damn good player. He needs to be put in the right situation but at the same time, he need's to work his ass off to keep the starting job at 2nd so we don;t have to trade for Robby Alomar again. I think his morale goes down a lot when he hears that we are after a starting 2nd baseman. We know he has the physical skills but he needs to use them more. His main problem, IMO, is his mentality. He needs to get his mind right. I have nothing against him, he just needs to show me more. Also, he needs to get that horse up on the basepaths. He gets bad jumps and sometimes is too afraid to run. He has speed, let's let him use it. I feel that we'll be begging to see more of Willie this year.
  20. I gotta admit, he bulked up a lot from 99 to 2000 but you have to understand, I was over a span of 7 years. 1998-2005 is a loooong time. I won't beleive it until (if, in fact, it is) proven that he used steroids under his own knowledge to bulk up. Period.
  21. BTW, didn't I say Ben shouldn;t be guarding bigger SG's??? Damn, sometimes it's good to be right but I'd rather be wrong on that one.
  22. Damn Eddy Curry can't pass! Kirk's shot looked right on though. Damn, a game lost in the last 2 minutes.
  23. Gordon shouldn't be playing taller SG. They can take him in the post.
  24. Is this game on Comcast SportsNet???
