The Posters and Mods/Admins on this Board here are great. I've been posting for almost 2 years. I remember (before I joined) when there were only 150-200 posters here. Im watching Roy Williams receive for 200 yards vs the Bears today. Why can't we just give the ball to Thomas Jones 25 times and see what happens. We NEED to draft offense in this years draft. The more losses, the higher the pick. We need a Roy Williams type receiver on the Bears. A healthy Grossman, a healthy dose of TJ, and a good WR would improve this offense a load. We chose Tommy Harris with the 1st round pick. Excellent pick, then in the 2nd round, we choose Tank Johnson, ANOTHER DT, WHY???? We needed offense and Mr. Angelo, Bernard Berrian IS NOT the next Randy Moss. Sorry. DRAFT OFFENSE!

I got scared for a second. I was using my sisters brand new laptop and all of the sudden, I was reading a thread about Eckstein and the computer freaks out and turns off. I was like "Oh s***! I just f***ed up my sisters computer!" But, I'm glad everything worked out fine. BTW, Merry belated Christmas!

They need more minor league faces. Each team only has a few on AAA and 99.7% had generic faces on AA and fake players too. I hated it. They should update rosters in the Minors and advance development.

I kinda opened by heart up for Grudz if we're looking for a 2nd Baseman. If were looking for a SS, I'd go with Cora or Larkin. I vote Grudz with Uribe at SS.

If it is Ginter I'd say "Why? We have Gload?" if it is Spivey I'd say "Hmm, let's see what happens. Sounds good."

Darn those Cardinals. I really wanted Eckstein. Damnit Im pissed. I'm looking to sign Cora now but if all else fails, I'd prefer Grudz. In order, I want (depending by the situation): 1) Cora (If we're looking for a 2B/SS) 2) Grudz (If we're looking for a 2B) 3) Cairo (If all else fails)

I haven't heard anything about getting rid of it so I assume their keeping it. Also, they still have the affiliation with ESPN Radio 1000 so my guess would be that they keep it. BTW, Welcome to the Boards.

I can't wait until we see a set lineup of: Kirk Ben Luol Tyson Eddy With Andres and Duhon coming off the bench. Not to mention Ad, he is a big influence on this teams mentality.

Honestly, at this point, it's Gordon. He reminds me so much of Iverson. He is so good. Deng is my 2nd choice, but overall, I voted for Hinrich. He WILL be a star, period. He has the ability to have a triple-double every game. He can shoot, pass, defend, rebound, and control the tempo of the game. Until I see more consistancy fronm Gordon, it's Hinrich but in all reality, Gordon does rhyme with Jordan.

If we paid Odalis, then we wouldn't have the dough for Eck or Cora. Although Buehrle, Garcia, Perez, Contreras, Garland is nice, it would be too expensive. Plus, Odalis doesn;t have the World Series/Winning experience. Lastly, Odalis is probably looking for more than 8 mil. per. Why do you think no one has signed him yet???

I say keep the fences as is, it helps keep the balance of power and smallball in the lineup.

Does anyone know whats going on on the AJ Burnett front. I would assume talks are off since the signing of El Duque. I would probably say the same with RJ and Vazquez but you never know with Kenny. Quck note: El Duque has already outlasted his first span with the White Sox in 2003 after the Colon trade.

Thats true but I would want him to be comfortable here and remember, he's still not signed yet. If we told him we want him at secind, he might spurn us and go somewhere else to start at SS.
