Butler will be Deng's backup. They loved his athleticism and length and Thibs thinks he could be a good defender. Finally we'll be able to give Deng some rest.

They passed on Brooks and Hamilton. Hamilton is going to get flipped for Rudy Fernandez, who the Bulls coveted for years.
And it could be that the Bulls overreached on Mirotic. Most teams aren't going to take a player who won't come over for 3-4 years.
They only have so many roster spots. Get used to it because they'll be making a lot of picks like this in the near future. And overreaching on what some considered the 7th best prospect in the draft is the same thing they did with Asik. That worked out well, didn't it?

F- for the Bulls. They passed up on better prospects that could help them THIS year for a project.
Stop. Stop. Please for the love of God stop.

What was traded for 23?? Do we still have another pick for a f***ing SG?
28, 43 and cash. Yes. Relax. The SG we pick at 28 or 30 wasn't going to be a impact player anyway.
So there's a very good chance that the Bulls pick a player they'll keep at 30. Harper, Brooks, Mack, Selby, Johnson, Butler, Hamilton, Cole, Leslie, Jenkins all possibilities.

The thing about Irving is that he really could be a CP3 type PG. They're very hard find. There's a lot of other Derrick Williams out there.
The all-in move is to take Williams and then Knight, but the safe pick is Irving.
You just lost Lebron James and the future of your organization is, well, there is no future. You go all-in and hope for the best. What exactly is the worst that could happen?

Definitely trade one or two of them. Take the best player available and it's Enes imo.
I wouldn't go that far. If I'm Utah, I like Jefferson/Kanter pairing up for the long-run.
