QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 11:44 AM) A pig's orgasm lasts for 30 minutes. Ha!! Proof that all those old girlfriends were dead wrong when they called me a pig.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 11:40 AM) Airplane, more memorable lines Shaken or Stirred Stirred . . . never shaken. Connery or Moore?
-
QUOTE(mreye @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 11:18 AM) Bride Blazing Saddles or Histroy of the World Part 1? Yep. Bride. The best of the classic Universal horror films.

And there he is. Old Iron Eyes Cody, aka Espera DeCorti. My all time favorite Sicilian Indian.

Right there is the problem with any and all of the community edited information sites. But since anybody can edit anything in/out, I think banning the Hill alone is going to do little to improve information content. I think Wikipedia is a great information experiment. And I think the massive peer review that happens by nature of what the site is eventually does a good job of ensuring that the entries become increasingly convergent with the truth.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 10:31 AM) Oh beautiful for smoggy skies Insecticided grains For strip-mined mountains, majesty Above the asphalt plains. America, America, Man sheds his waste on thee And hides the pines With billboard signs From sea to oily sea! It's enough to make a fake Indian cry real tears.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 10:15 AM) Picard in a landslide. Rubber Soul or Revolver? Rubber Soul -- IF the UK Parlaphone release with the Yesterday and Today tracks included. Rodan or King Gidorah?

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 10:01 AM) Paul. Conan O'Brien or Conan The Barbarian? O'Brien Kirk or Piccard?

QUOTE(bmags @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 02:50 AM) It's between that and transmission for my all time favorite Joy Division song. Classic false advertising, dude! There is NOTHING joyful about those guys whatsoever. I want my money back!!

I'm not sure which is more disturbing, the tables-turned beastiality or the fact that femal midget bullfighting exists somewhere.

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 01:25 AM) Niefi, and it's not even close. Nobody disputes Niefi's value as a defensive player. I probably shouldn't say nobody, but nobody should dispute his defensive value. Classic or Pet Rock? Classic Roth Era Van Halen or Hagar Era van Halen?

QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 11:35 PM) Anyone buy one on-line and have a recomendation for a good company? I need one for surfing, windsurfing, and snorkling. If you are looking for a custom suit, these guys are pretty good http://www.wetsuitwearhouse.com I bought a custom wetsuit for my wife from them a couple of years back and it has been a great suit. They have added a lot more lines since then, but oddly they have not updated the ordering process. It looks like you still have to print and fill ot the sizing form instead of doing it all online.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 10:33 PM) Except that he is showing the modern, crap, version of the Emperor. The TRUE Emperor, the one made by the real original Epiphone company (before Gibson bought them out and drove the once respectable company into the ground). The one I mention is this: This guitar was made to to battle with the Gibby Super 400. It's larger than the Gibby even. The one shown above (in Jim's post) is actually the Emperor II, the Joe Pass model. It's actually quite small for a Jazz box. Fullers ESB. Beer or wine? Oh, puh-leeze. It's not like I posted a pic of a post CBS Strat or anything that obscene. . . . . . says the guy who would take a vintage Fender over pretty much anything.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 08:16 PM) No.....you're the only one who cares.... Not true. Emperor in a walk. Fuller's London Pride or Fuller's ESB?

QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 05:37 PM) Pulled Pork Boxing or Mixed Martial Arts? Martial Arts Mick Shrimpton, Joe "Mama" Besser, Peter "James" Bond, Eric "Stumpy Joe" Childs, or John "Stumpy" Pepys?

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 04:34 PM) I thought the original Durty Nellie's was located at 55 N. Bothwell in Palatine. What a lovely little dump that was. We had a Durty Nelly's in my town in Florida for a couple years too. Used the same color scheme as the original as well. Couldn't afford the rent the landlord was demanding – too much square footage and not enough Guinness drinkers.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 04:30 PM) No consolation needed. Just giving ya a hard time for a second there. I'll PM ya an address again if you are still feeling charitable. Charitable yes, just too lazy to get to the UPS apparently!

-
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 04:19 PM) Yeah? Did you drink a Sam Adams Triple Bock whilst there by any chance? D'oh! Oops? I've also yet to tame the Beast, if that is any consolation. Not likely, I know. I think I need an addy again, as I think the wife tossed yer box in a cleaning fit.

QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 04:16 PM) king cadbury eggs or peeps? Yuck! Neither. Velma or Daphnee?

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 04:07 PM) An event I look forward to every year. Just a heads up for any that might be interested. http://durtynellies.com/beerfest2006.html Looks like a good brewer lineup. Aside: I've been to the original Durty Nelly's at the foot of Bunratty Castle. Established in 1620, they say it's the oldest operating pub in Ireland.
