No way, Critic. A betta CAN'T eat a goldfish unless it a fry. Not possible. It could harass and beat it to death, but not eat it. If you didn't have a lid on that bowl, then Goldy jumped (yes, she could have been spooked by Ruby and that made her jump). She may have flopped around and under a table or something, but I'm pretty sure you're gonna find a dried up ex goldfish lying on the floor in the next week or so.

As far as I know, the verdict is still out on circumcision and HIV transmission. A search of the literature reveals recognized experts saying circumcision lowers transmission rates and then there are other wqually respected individuals saying circumcision may actually increase transmission rates. I'm not up on the latest opinion but I know it's not been conclusively shown one way or the other.
