  2. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 12:57 AM) Did anyone else make it there? It was the best time of my life. Too bad I'm underage and was with my dad, but it was still remarkable. Unbelievable. The UC was also a great place to take in the game!!! did make it out to Bridgeport but im sure it was no different than the celebration of by us. WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!
  3. i was in my basement watching the game with the family. as soon as the last out was made, me and my father, a true lifelong Palehose and southsider jumped up and everyone just hugged. my dad was around in 59 and hes been waiting a long time indeed. he can finally have closure. also my grandfather and grandmother who now reside out in Orland Park who raised 5 kids and 15 grandchildren to bleed black and white was at a loss when we called them. we all piled in the minivan with brooms and flags and drove around the Mt. Greenwood and Beverly neighborhoods and on the major streets up until about 20 minutes ago. it was unreal. thousands of people all decked out in pinstripes. people running out of houses, garages and pubs. even the CPD officers were enjoying these moments! and also lemme send a "shout-out" to my brother Chris who is currently stuck in the hell hole, cub infested environment that is Iowa for school. dont worry buddy, youll be home soon enough for the festivities that are sure to last weeks! we did it bro.

  7. QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 01:40 PM) I gave a try at a slide show (my first time making any/using Windows Movie Maker), and it got good feedback on WSI so I'll post it here. It's short, and it's still images since I don't know how to capture/use video clips. I tried to sync up some of the audio with the images (yes, the middle of part of the music skips/repeats itself for emphasis), and I know, I'm an amateur, there's some things I thought about adding/changing afterwords but whatever, it's my first try, take it easy on me http://s50.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0LQVLS4...H80OICP5QNOHEYH lookin real good man. i especially like the Moronotti, Brantley and Mags pics. lol. just one question, why did you post on WSI first? :headshake ...eh whatever. soxtalk.com, your first and only discussion destination. ooo i smell a slogan!

  11. QUOTE(rventura23 @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 08:48 PM) So I was trying to make a list of songs that remind me of the 2005 white sox. All I can think of is: 1) pirate of caribbean 2) thunderstruck AC/DC 3) Go Go Sox 59 song can anybody think of other songs played during the games or at the stadium that reming them of the sox? what about the players "enterance" music? for instance ARow has Linkin Park. i thought a comp of those would be cool
  12. QUOTE(3E8 @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 03:41 PM) Ok I wanted to try making a vid. I know it says May but this is a collection of clips from April actually. It's a really large file so if you have dial-up I wouldn't try it. Enjoi! http://media.putfile.com/Sox-May-Highlights absolutely bad ass! is that CO&CA i here? great plays and great vid!

  17. no tix here. had 4 people trying to get thru forever but nada. i just was listenin to this radio station and some guy and 30 of his coworkers got on whitesox.com to try and get tickets. not one got thru. but yea we did fight the good fight and i suppose its good to know that if you didnt get thru, your best friend didnt get thru so theres no animoscity. all the REAL fans, the blue collar working class that defines most White Sox fans wont be in the ballpark.

    Joey Cora

Joey "Windmill Arm" Cora has done a terrific job as 3rd base coach. hes offensive and takes risks. sometimes they work, some times they dont but they usually do. id like to know how many games we won thanks to the stellar coaching of Joey and my man Rock Raines.
