Iraq veteran sues Moore over 9/11 film
I think it's bulls*** that you have to get clearance to use anything broadcast publicly to begin with.

For GOP only
I got a business to run? But only if you speak English? Last time I checked, a dollar was worth the same in the hand of a Mexican, Somali, Japanese or American.

Daley allegedly staffed Skyway to avoid his own delays
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 31, 2006 -> 01:02 PM) First time I read that headline, I thought it said Delay. Whoops. Here's what y'all need to do. Find out a time when the Mayor is going to be driving the Skyway. Like 10 minutes beforehand, bulldoze a giant X into the middle of the road.

Mark Dayton gives himself an F
And to be honest, I think Walter Mondale would have done the same thing - he'd be just too old to care about the political thing to do.

A Few Years, and Then Another Bush?
Don't they wanna make him commissioner of the NFL? All I want is an election - the first one in 30 years that hasn't had a Bush or Clinton on the ticket.

Mark Dayton gives himself an F
Soxy how can you say just the right thing all the time? If I wasn't so gay....

Mark Dayton gives himself an F
He tried to kill the bankruptcy bill. He also was a poor fundraiser, and was facing a well-financed challenge. The DFL bench in Minnesota is deep. So this was also Dayton being good to the party and not to his ego. Between him and Wellstone, the State of Minnesota was blessed with excellent Senators in 2001 and 2002.

What's your take on legalizing pot?
They do that now in a lot of states. In New Jersey, you are given the option of breathalyzer or a blood test and there is no problem with it. If you refuse the breathalyzer, you're given a blood test.

Kap, you can't be wrong about EVERYTHING
-
Mark Dayton gives himself an F
He did say he gave himself an A- for effort. He might be talking about the overall result of what the Congress has produced.

You wanna know why its a personal attack? You claim to be a Democrat - but you obviously aren't paying attention. Because you're turning the "we can do better" attitude that everyone should have and turning it into the "why bother" attitude that too many people have. I have my reasons to be pissed when self-proclaimed democrats cop that attitude - especially when they don't know who's running in their district. And especially when they whine about whats going on in the world and how it was someone from a different party's fault and start showing conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory around. I hear them all the time about the 2004 election and whether or not it was stolen in Ohio. I think it was stolen when all the self-professed Democrats didn't vote for change in 2004. Apathy is one of the things that bothers me most. There are lots of good people running for office this year and if you can't see that, then you aren't looking.

I don't understand, if our government is so concerned with protecting other people's money, why don't they let the tobacco companies grow marijuana and sell it? It protects the profit, which seems to be our main governmental motivator lately, allows the government to strictly regulate its content, and gives us the ability to not make every Joe Potsmoker have a criminal record unless they do something stupid like DWI on weed.
