  1. Karl Rove looks so sad. Will.I.Am on Hologram!
  2. Obama is up by 3 points in VA, so I'd say yes.
  3. Al Franken up by 15K votes in MN. Looks like the Republicans will keep MS. Landrieu in a tough race, only winning by 15K votes. Only vulnerable Dem in the Senate at this point.
  4. Popular vote total gives you a 51-48 split, 1.5 million vote difference.
  5. McCain now winning NC by 11K votes.
  6. McCain's lead in Indiana is under 7000 votes.
  7. QUOTE (Chet Lemon @ Nov 4, 2008 -> 10:18 PM) Rep. Shays (R-CT) defeated Wow. Will the last Republican in New England turn out the light?
  8. Texas to McCain, pushing him over 100 EV. At least he won't lose as bad as Dukakis.
  9. Obama leads by around 25K votes in Virginia, McCain by less than 15K in Indiana.
  10. The popular vote edge is creeping up for Obama, now up just under a million. McCain only getting 30% of the latino vote.
  11. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 4, 2008 -> 10:10 PM) also, the Democrats have some conservative Democrats holding seats, so a really totally over the top agenda probably wouldn't have worked. I don't think you'd see one supported by Obama. Look for him to push his tax cut, a jobs program, and some ethics reform packages. Nothing earthshaking, just stuff to make stuff happen. Obama will be a boring president. That's what matters.
  12. What I honestly hope is that the Dems have enough gains to kick Lieberman out of their caucus.
  13. So Obama is on track for at least 324 EV, I believe. Possibly 335. Iowa goes to Obama, Utah for McCain. Two states have officially flipped. The CNN score is 206-89.
  14. CNN says if he sweeps the board except for CA, OR, WA and HI, he can only get to 266.
  15. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 4, 2008 -> 09:21 PM) I still think Richardson was a better pick, unless they found something in his closet during vetting. Which may very well be the case. Lady toucher.
  16. CNN reports that they've turned the news off in Arizona.
  17. The only two states that Obama had at risk tonight was Pennsylvania and New Hampshire from the 252 Kerry votes that he had. Given that Ohio represents 20 votes, that brings Obama basically to 272. We won't see any blue states flipping red this year.
  18. QUOTE (Soxy @ Nov 4, 2008 -> 08:25 PM) 20 minute wait, very old (probably more than 40) machine that makes a very reassuring DING! when you pull the lever. There was a very concerned older lady about if her vote might get lost. Other than that, no issue. My machine was on its last leg. They are scheduled to be replaced in NY state next year.
  19. NBC projects Obama in Ohio. It's done.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 4, 2008 -> 09:25 PM) Virginia suddenly a 1 point, 33000 vote margin. Less than 13K vote separation there. Obama maintaining a 150K plus vote lead in Florida... 200K in Ohio 80K in North Carolina.... Any one of these turns blue and Dems pop bottles.
  21. So far no states have flipped, but the jury is still out on Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Indiana and North Carolina. That's kind of crazy.
