Are people really expecting Quentin to come back? It seems like there are pretty low odds he will make it back by the end of the season let alone anytime in the regular season. Even if he does come back coming off a broken wrist as a power hitter means that he is probably not going to pick up where he left off.

I have tickets for batting practice tomorrow as part of the partial season ticket package. With the double header tomorrow does anyone know if they still have normal batting practice before the second game (or do they just have batting practice before the first game)?

He had great numbers, but nobody hit better than Belle when it didn't matter. I would definitely say Thomas' season was better. Also, Belle was voted 8th in the AL MVP, so it would be sad if that was the Sox best season ever.

I was going to purchase one but I am not sure if anyone has recommendations/ comments. I heard that the bill james and BP book are in early November so they dont include a lot of recent material.

I think the bullpen is in good shape to have a solid year, I doubt they will be better than 2005 (thats very hard to do) but they will do better than last year
