  1. just saw the video, pretty ugly, worse than expected
  2. yes ruth, no aaron ive had enough bonds for one lifetime though
  3. saves time and water, i would love one.
  4. Bonds' biggest impact according to the article would have come after 2001 and its hard to forecast a guy is going to take steriods (let alone still be a sox) 46 is funny
  5. not to say that this wasnt one of the stupidst draft picks ever (because it was) but just because we draft bonds doesnt mean in 2001 hes going to still be white sox (he left the pirates in 92) there are way to many factors for me to ever make the statement drafting bonds would have made us win in 2001 (or any year) although drafting him would have made us better.
  6. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 06:31 PM) He doesn't see color.
  7. lets go Buerhle keep the offense going
  8. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 02:31 PM) If you bought an IBM TP in the last 5 to 7 years, then you already had a Lenovo thinkpad. Lenovo was building them for IBM for years, they just recently broke off the business to the Lenovo name. I'll say that IBM/Lenovo ThinkPads are the best laptops you can own for reliability, toughness and practicality. They may not be as flashy as a Vaio, but in every other way, ThinkPads are the way to go. You do pay for that, though - they aren't the cheapest. What I would really like to get now is one of those Panasonic Toughbook laptops that can be used in a downpour, at high altitude, below freezing, can be dropped 6 feet, etc., and has something like a 15 hour battery. Cool stuff. thanks I agree. Thinkpads are the best (although Toughbooks seem pratical)
  9. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 01:37 PM) http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7577/19...heerleaders.jpg I love that guy's stuff. The Chevy Pride Crew needs to go.
  10. Yeah Robin! one of the best college players ever, congrats

  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 08:49 PM) Hell, in 1884 Charley Radbourn went 59-12 with a 1.38 ERA all by his lonesome. of course none of that s*** counts seeing how he also had 73 GS and 73 CG that season, that's why we split things up and really only count stats from the modern era. true altough 1884 is very different from 1904 in baseball that duo led the league in wins in 9 out of 11 years, which is impressive
  15. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 08:42 PM) Yeah, 2001. they were good in 2001
  16. if you want to go way back to 1904 Joe McGinnity and Christy Mathewson went 68-20 combined (they were 1-2 in wins and no other pitcher was within 10 wins)
  17. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 06:40 PM) Clemens-Mussina (2000 NYY) first of all mussina and clemens combined 24-23 in 2000 second (and more importantly) they were not on the same team in 2000
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 02:16 PM) It was up @ WhiteSox.com when I went there. It was on the auto-play video option. thanks, didnt see it there lets hope BA keeps hitting and gets some more confidence
